Gene should thank Paul the rest of his life for not leaving Kiss because the band could have survive the loss of every single member (including Gene) but not the loss of Paul Stanley... if Paul would have left, KISS would have died by 1985...
One of the two main ingredients that made the original four the rock Gods that they are. Between Paul's melodic song writing, excellent rhythm guitar work and Aces hard hitting rock sound and lead work. They produced the only two 78 solo albums that I completely wore out both sides. Paul Stanley is one of rocks most under recognized vocalists. This was an awesome tour and set list. Sometime around this Live to Win tour however, Paul damaged his vocals. Most everything I've heard of him post Live to Win sounded as he does present day. You can tell in these Chicago videos he was really giving it his all and sounded fantastic! Paul and only Paul has always been KISS. 100%.
Wanted to hear the studio version, but this is as close as I could get to the original. I score this version a solid 9.75 out of 10. Excellent work, guys, esp. you, Paul!!!
@xx55AC55xx yeah but pauls album is a more love orientated album and the riffs and chorus's are catchy , and aces is is just pure hard rock , paul and aces solos were the best :D
