Very claustrophobic, and don't forget, she often put a cup of coffee, 1 big water bottle, and a plate of food (mostly a cake). And now imagine how crowded her setup, lol
Mate my "table" (which is a storage rack) isn't even a metre and I don't have two monitors, I make my stuff work even despite how super claustrophobic it is. It'd be even less if I bothered to clean it up some, but ah well.
@@ELC_WAH what would you suggest? I just have a bigger desk. But I have to move my tablet and keyboard around depending on what I'm doing atm. (art or anything else).
lol if we r talking about when Calli had to have her mouse on the pc tower and surrounded by monitors hunched like a gremlin on the ground. Roara definitely is more fortunate. Though one thing for sure is they both spent their money on a beefy pc.
@@SpoonHurler Ah no, i think those are great and would probably aid in drawing. Its just that my setup is at my sofa so if i get a propper desk itl be too high up (yes my main desk is a coffe table)
tbvh its pretty common setup for ppl who draws, mine also set like that with keyboard behind for it to fit and its comfy for shortcut. but that cup holder over the pc is just.. chaotic
I had a cramped setup like that for like 10 years, didn't even had a chair, had to sit in my bed. I recently upgraded to a full desktop, and I have to say that saying is "comfy" is pure cope. I still wish I had a little more space to put my 12" tablet and upgrade to 27" monitors, but alas.
Yoooo that's the same setup as me! I just move my tablet away when im not using it, but yeah im always reaching behind my tablet to type lol God bless the big cat
she need one of those 3 connected desk and 2 more monitors to put her tablet and drawing setup and another for streaming/gaming setup in general because god....that is torturous
Oh mi gosh this is amazing. It’s like every government agent trope in the novels While the Forces of Justice have the wondrous tech to prison demons and sparkling moai demigods, the individual agent has just enough cash for cheap suit and tie xD
What I suggest for her is vesa mount the pen display (if it is compatible in vesa mount), she should buy one it would give her more space, maybe she can clamp it on right side of the table then switch the microphone stand to left side so that she can see both monitor.
If her pen display is compatible with vesa mount just buy one it would give her more space, just clamp it on the right side then switch the microphone boom arm to left side in that way she can both see her monitor without any problem.
doesn't matter if she gets another desk she needs one that's deeper to put the keyboard in front when she is not drawing or hang the monitors to the wall and save space
I literally LITERALLY have the same setup but the screens aren't even centered with the tablet 😭and the computer proper on the desk too, I have to move my whole upper body to the left to type on the keyboard
I have the same setup probelm. I solved it by using a swivel monitor arm mount for my drawing tablet. So if im not drawing I just push it back and use it as a regular monitor.
that's literally the same as mine. except my drawing stuff is not a wacom tablet, it's a modded Surface Studio 2+ (32GB RAM to 64GB, 3060 6GB to 3080, and a modded BIOS as well), so that drawing stuff will control my PC using on-LAN RDP. some task still require keyboard so I still have a smol Magic Keyboard for that
I’ve got a temp solution that might help her. On my desk to keep my cats from running over my keyboard I put a cover over it made of wood that’s pretty sturdy and I put my tablet on top of it. So I’m typing underneath my tablet but it’s raised high enough up that it doesn’t get in the way of my hands.
mine used to be like this. keyboard behind tablet but it was crap so i bought a tablet stand and now the keyboard is in front under the elevated tablet
As a person who has a drawing monitor keeping my keyboard behind the tablet is pretty comfy, but a smaller tablet size does let me reposition my keyboard a lot easier.
From my experience: The problem being that she can't use the complete keyboard and lack of space in general. A good solution that doesn't change her actual habit of "drawing and shortcuts" would be this: 1. Get a desk that comes with a keyboard tray (obligatory)(or keyboard shelf, idk what's its name) and larger on the sides (not necessary) 2. Buy a "half-keyboard" (the ones that only have the left side) The two of them because: The half-keyboard goes over the desk to the left of her tablet so she doesn't change her habits while drawing and even have more movement. But when she needs to write something or play games, she uses the complete keyboard under the desk, including space for the nintendo! Obviously the height remains the same (Sorry for the unnecesary long comment, haha)
If she has room for one a L desk probably solves most of the issues. Considering she's shoved everything on one desk though I doubt it really is an option.
Why does Hololive always have trouble with desks? 1st We had Mori as a goblin on the floor with her mouse on top of the computer tower and now we have this.
Tbf they probably don't have the largest rooms to work with when they start out. FWMC literally couldn't fit 2 set ups in their initial room even if they wanted to.
my desk isn't that small but my tablet and keyboard placement is pretty much the same. keyboard angled to the left behind the tablet so i can hit that ctrl z/t with the utmost accuracy at the cost of proper spelling.
she has the setup that I want iv been trying to look for a good standing desk with a drawer under that pulls put because I don't like my keyboard and mouse being the same level my mouse needs to be higher than my keyboard
Buy a new table just for the drawing tablet and maybe some new keyboard and mouse too, and put the pc in the middle between the table. Tbh her setup is just like mine but since I have big table, i have more space to put my drawing tablet on the right of my so whenever I don't use it, I just need to move it to the right and I can use my keyboard and mouse properly.
At the very least i would think Raora would benefit from one of those split keyboards. So she can keep left shortscuts accessible while also being able to actually type normally. What do you mean one hand typing?!
The only real problem with the setup is the lack of desk space and the VERY PROBLEMATIC cup holder position (hint: do not deliberately put liquids in a position where they can spill water on extremely-expensive PC components).
Why not just move the tablet, when not using or is this when she is doing drawing streams. She needs a 60% keyboard when she is doing a drawing streams
Is. . . it bad that my set-up is the same as mama's but with only a single monitor? edit: I do have the same position with my drawing tablet but it's only a 16inch one
Forget the jetpack project, prioritize mamma's pc table... but with jetpack
Nearly had us on the first half
Floating standing desk so you're getting exercise while drawing!

I'm getting Aki flashbacks again. She also doesn't have space for her mouse thus uses controller for everything.
A new desktop for Mamma and a new *cough* jet *cough* pack for us
Great deal
she needs a retractable keyboard drawer under the desk.
as a person who has drawing tablet and retractable drawer keyboard, its painful to switch between keyboard and drawing table
