What i see, Ubbe is definately his fathers wish to be, Ubbe became a sailsman, Ubbe had to fight against his brother but didnt want to fight his brother, Rollo and Hvitserk both left their brothers. Rollo and Hvitserk are the same too, i think Hvitserk and Ubbe became the closest to the spirits of Ragnar and Rollo.
I know he was known as ubbe the fearless but to me I always saw him as ubbe the wise, wiser than his brothers, Ivar and hvitserk and Ivar saw his desire for new lands and trying to move away from battle as weak and unviking like and for that they parted ways with him and turned on him. But he still loved his brothers and refused to harm them in battle. Gave them both a second chance just like Ragnar did with rollo. He also always saw Bjorn as his superior despite Bjorn's many failings which he himself admitted to ubbe still called him his hero and looked to him for leadership. Ubbe would then become a leader himself doing what his father always wanted leading his people to new lands where they could make a life. He was truly the closest to Ragnar not just in physical resemblence but in his ambitions and wanting more for his people and family. The man who would never be king but perhaps the man best suited for such a role Ubbe Ragnarsson
when Bjorn said he failed he was talking about his personal life like fatherhood and being a loyal husband LOL he wasn't talking about his Legacy just to be clear cuz his legacy as a viking is flawless

Wow what a tribute it really shows the depth of what he stood for and why he was the most important of all the sons. and of course floki we can never forget about the crazy boat builder in the woods.
This was incredible from the get go you immediately had my attention with the way you had him singing in the boat was so captivating. I really loved the way parrelled his life, Ragnar and floki's together that was brilliant. The music was perfect and your selection of scenes,quotes were well thought out helped bring his story to life but man oh man was I not prepared for that second sequence one of favourite bits was when ubbe got to the tree and how showed other story's using that was so awesome but honestly my favourite bit and was when ragnar told floki he loved him then you had ubbe do the same and finally bought to the scene with saying do you remember Ragnar of course I remember him he comes to me and asks for a new boat and tell him what do you need a new boat for your dead that had me crying.This is your best edit yet my friend thank you for this masterpiece can't get over how good it is.💙

Think on the similiarities, both Rollo and Bjorn tried to prevent the right thing in order to satisfy themself Rangnar would never have done that. And that is why Bjorn is responsible for the death of Lagertha. And in order to prevent justice bjorn did pretty much everything, the only of Ragnars sons that wanted to keep peace was Ubbe. Its basicly like Bjorn took the stubborness from Rollo, Ivar took the Recklessness of Ragnar, Hvitserk the Ability to live with the circumstances until you can change it, Sigurd got the impatience of Ragnar, Gyda got his Ability to love and forgive. But Ubbe allways had the Wisdom of his father and was the greatest of his sons, while bjorn did only whats necessary and to save norway, ubbe did everything to create a future for the vikings. So Ubbe is indeed the greatest of Ragnars sons. And i am glad that i have atleast a bit blood of those vikings.

I just have to say, fantastic video. Ubbe is my favorite son of Ragnar and my favorite characters in the series besides Ragnar himself. The moment I watched the first few seconds and looked down at the title of the video, I knew that you understood Ubbe and I was in for a treat. Hail Ubbe Ragnarsson!
