I agree. While there are subtle differences. I think you can get the same matte look with the Surge or Blends palettes. I like that Primal has the updated shimmer formula, but the color story is a snoozefest. imho
I have all her palettes with this on the way I would say get the blends palette it's all matte and her matte formula is Amazing the Best in the game imo her shimmers are OK but I always reach for my singles and multichromes
I don’t mind the less curated palettes because I use them with my single shimmer shadows (granted I only have the blends palette… and have an ABSURD number of smaller curated palettes…). My dream would be if these were *removable/magnetic* so I could use them in custom palettes with my fun multichrome singles. That would be amazing. I think I will skip this one and get the surge. I’ve already been thinking about that one…
Same! I hope they do magnetic shades, they have some very unique shades I don’t see from other brands with single shadows (im eyeing mimic, poisonous, and ink from this palette, plus the darks & neons in the surge)
YES, removable magnetic. Bet most people love those dark deepening shades and the grungy/muted shades, but I won't get much use out of those. I'd like to be able to cherry pick her pastel, midtone, bright, and neon mattes. She must set all her colors out and arrange like a wall of paint chips and do actual blends to look for gaps. I imagine the curated palettes will naturally come once she is happy that she has flushed out her overall range.

I don't want smaller palettes. I want a super grungy pallet reds, greens, yellows, oranges that would be perfect for fall, brown and berries too. I love that she does super deep and super light shades and does them so amazingly 👏 💜
Though I understand the versatility of a pallet like this, I'm personally more into more curated colour stories that give me a vision to start with. i like small to medium size pallets, between 9 and 18 pans. 9 is just enough that you can go in different directions and 18 is just big enough before it gets awkwardly big and overwhelming. I thought the dollhouse pallet had an interesting variety of colours for what it's worth though!
Agreed. I really like the format that Viseart is doing by making tiny palettes with up to 12 different shadows so you get enough variety in a small size.

I love this! Its like 6 quads if you use it in a column, but its rainbow but pastel and bright and deep colors and the shiny colors and the black and white, this looks so usable for me! And in cool/neutral, which are me. Perfection.
I bought this bc I love rainbow palettes, I never get sick of them haha I don't care about mattes *except* for BB... basically those are my mattes and most of what else I buy is fully shimmer palettes so I appreciate that the gaps in that formula were filled- it was something I really wanted!

I do think that after Primal, she doesn't need more primary-toned rainbow palettes. However I would still love to see more palettes like Surge that play with different tones, but still generally covers the rainbow spectrum. For example, a cooler, grungier, muted rainbow. Honestly, I also just respect her taste/creativity and feel that as long as she stays true to her artistry, we'll continue to get great releases.
I like this palette and may even pick it up, because I've been wanting to try Blend Bunny but couldn't decide but now I think this is the happy in between for the existing palettes!
Funny enough, I agree with all your points about how it could be possibly repetitive- I think I'm the perfect person for this palette. But I know many people for who a palette like this would be perfect

I don't have the Blends palette, so I grabbed Primal and I'm excited! I just love having an assortment of colours to get inspiration from when building my looks. I'll usually bring in shimmers and special shades from other palettes and I love it 💜
I definitely wish she would do something other than a rainbow palette. I am older (54) and just don't look good in like 2/3 of the colors of the rainbow. The colors she does in my preferred range (cool toned blues, purples, teals) look amazing, and I would LOVE to have them, but I can't justify the WASTE involved in buying a palette and only wearing such a small portion of it. I would LOVE it if she would either allow for a build-your-own palette from the colors she has (I have already built it in my mind) OR if she would do smaller palettes of 4 - 10 colors that would be like one or two of the columns in her palettes... I can dream.

The Dollhouse has become my go-to neutral palette, mostly because it's neutral colors, instead of all grays and browns. I cannot WAIT for my Primal palette to get here! I love this rainbow look and might just have to try to recreate it myself!

Wow! This is such a beautiful palette! It is a great complement to the Surge Palette which I have. I am actively trying to talk myself out of buying this one. I did not expect Blend Bunny to come out with another gorgeous palette! My only wish is that it had more light shimmers other than yellow - but then again I have a lot of light glitter sparkle singles, so maybe it is a great excuse to use them. And, best of all, I feel like they heard the feedback on the Dollhouse palette by producing a vibrant palette. I am so excited. If they come out with a wine/red/berry/plum/purple with the tomes that they make, I am all in!
I would love a series of 5 pan mini palettes with unconventional (burgundy or plum and lime for example) complementary colors in the Blend Bunny formula!!! A girl can dream!!! Of course I bought Primal. Surge is my only other rainbow palette, and managing only two rainbows out of 70 palettes is a feat LOL! I don't need it. But I love the tones and the formula 🤷🏽♀️ The look you did was sooo nice! Also, I tried to use your code for the palette and it didn't work. Maybe it isn't applicable on new launches? I like the Blend Bunny palettes for pairing with the duochromes in other palettes like Adept or Lethal Cosmetics, etc. They give you such a nice base to start from. Can’t wait for this palette to get to me.

I’ve been hearing so many people talk about Blend Bunny Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes and it makes me so happy honestly I want to eventually own all three of her palettes they’re so gorgeous. I don’t know if you like duochrome eyeshadow palettes but Indi Beat Cosmetics has two gorgeous 18 pan duochrome eyeshadow palettes Platinum Hits and Platinum Hits 2 which is the neutral duochrome sister of the og palette. Indi Beat Cosmetics has something amazing in the works but I can’t say what yet. But seriously so amazing to see smaller brands getting the recognition they deserve.
Yeah I’ve been skipping bigger palettes lately because I just really prefer smaller palettes overall and because I have like 20 rainbow palettes. Maybe I’d make an exception if the color story was more my taste. For example the new Cosmic Brushes palette is pretty big but the color story is so beautiful that I do not care about the size. I’m trying to get my hands on it but it keeps selling out! I do hope that Blend Bunny comes out with a more unique or unusual curated color story in the future because everyone raves about the formula so I do hope to try it eventually.
I really like the yellow row but I don’t need a huge black & white .I have the other 3 palettes so have 2 whites& 2 blacks already. The only other thing that is making me wait is the shipping , I stay in the UK so it really makes them the most expensive palettes I own!! I love the brand and the formula, the Dollhouse is one of my favorite palettes, but when it comes down to it, for me, I didn’t need this one. I feel like this palette is definitely missing a few important shades, like teals and emeralds, but at the same time I understand that it's meant to complete the other palettes and I also love the blurple shades a lot. 💜💙💜 I don't understand why it's called Primal, because the Blends palette has way more primary shades than this one (here it's basically just the yellow), but maybe the name was based around something else...
Great to see them all next to eachother, definitely not redundant but if you have all the palettes you will be set for the rest of the brands lifetime for matts. I am def getting the Surge and the Dollhouse at some point, but waiting on other releases from the brand to see where she is going next

I don’t know if you like duochrome eyeshadow palettes but Indi Beat Cosmetics has two gorgeous 18 pan duochrome eyeshadow palettes Platinum Hits and Platinum Hits 2 which is the neutral duochrome sister of the og palette. Indi Beat Cosmetics has something amazing in the works but I can’t say what yet. But seriously so amazing to see smaller brands getting the recognition they deserve.

Yeah I’ve been skipping bigger palettes lately because I just really prefer smaller palettes overall and because I have like 20 rainbow palettes. Maybe I’d make an exception if the color story was more my taste. For example the new Cosmic Brushes palette is pretty big but the color story is so beautiful that I do not care about the size. I’m trying to get my hands on it but it keeps selling out! I do hope that Blend Bunny comes out with a more unique or unusual curated color story in the future because everyone raves about the formula so I do hope to try it eventually.
I really like the yellow row but I don’t need a huge black & white .I have the other 3 palettes so have 2 whites& 2 blacks already. The only other thing that is making me wait is the shipping , I stay in the UK so it really makes them the most expensive palettes I own!! I gave in & treated myself to the first 3 for my birthday after ( it seemed like ) everyone on RUclips LOVED them . Thank you for your review, love the look & your T-shirt 😁💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Soooo Beautiful Mah!!💜💙💚💖...maybe for the white...i have been using the matte formula wet and it applies SOOO saturated and opaque. Love them! 🙌👑
My perfect rainbow palette would have one row of pastel mattes, one row of pastel shimmers, and another row of deep dark mattes.
Plus one row of inner corner highlights (RUclips won’t let me edit)

Absolutely stunning Angie! I was going to get this palette, but I took a step back and really thought about what I would do with it, and then opted out. I love the brand and the formula, the Dollhouse is one of my favorite palettes, but when it comes down to it, for me, I didn’t need this one.

I’d love to see smaller (12 - 18 pans) in grungy or grungy glam color stories. A mix of mattes, shimmers and “special shades”.

This look turned out stunning! I love all of my other Blend Bunny palettes but was concerned about overlap, especially with Blends. I’ll probably still pick this one up at some point, but like you, I hope that future releases are either more curated or something other than a rainbow ❤️
I feel like this palette is definitely missing a few important shades, like teals and emeralds, but at the same time I understand that it's meant to complete the other palettes and I also love the blurple shades a lot. 💜💙💜 I don't understand why it's called Primal, because the Blends palette has way more primary shades than this one (here it's basically just the yellow), but maybe the name was based around something else...
Primal as in animals, not as in primary.

Great to see them all next to eachother, definitely not redundant but if you have all the palettes you will be set for the rest of the brands lifetime for matts. I am def getting the Surge and the Dollhouse at some point, but waiting on other releases from the brand to see where she is going next
