I have been watching your videos since the start of this project and I like it a lot. Don't be afraid to show us where you had to cut out metal from the original body. That information may be useful for someone who is doing a similar project.
if i under stand correctly this is basically a video guide since it he lists all the parts and part numbers so any can do this conversion swap. the metal work is basic fab too, basic cuts, compound basic bends, welding. its actually pretty clever.
After watching back, I rememer watching the first RWD a few years ago. I should have subscribed then, this channel has evolved EXPONENTIALLY since then. Great production, editing, and content.
I appreciate all of the comments you've been leaving! Your feedback is really appreciated. I'm glad you've taken notice of just how much hard work has been going into making this channel better. I work really hard to keep improving on everything. And in response to your F23 comment, which I know you saw where I've talked about it, I am hoping to come back to that someday. As of right now though I just want to focus on this project as it's what I truly want to do. Keep an eye out for the next video. Just recorded everything this past weekend and just need to sit down for a few hours of editing. Thanks again for the comments and support!
@AutoTechTyler No problem man, you gota lifetime supporter out of me. I'm very excited for the f23 series, my first car was an 05 base, still have it after 13 years, needs it's 3rd trans. It will be an f23 haha what region of Ohio are you in?
Oh this is gonna be sick. Can’t wait to see the final results. U guy’s are making my dreams come true but I am thinking about doing the same for the 2004-2008 Grand Prix modified it etc.. I’m working towards that! It’s time that the OG comes back in Style 😜 Grand Prix baby!
man every time i watch one ya your videos i just yearn for more! i love it it's looking great! did you figure out the room for the pedals yet? very inspirational! because of you I've actually started looking into swapping a c5 drivetrain in my 94 cutlass
You'd be surprised to know that they actually sit a little too far in with these wheels. I'll have to try and remember to throw a fender on next video so you can see!
I can finally sleep in peace knowing that a grand prix is finally being converted into a rwd v8. Thats something GM should've done a long time ago!! If GM would've made rwd grand prix in the first place, pontiac would've probably never had its doors closed back in 2010. They would've been booming with more business. They could've even made the grand prix awd
It's an interesting study! It's fun to note that GM was planning to have what became the Cadillac ATS as the next Pontiac G6 platform. I've owned many grand prixs, an ATS and now a CT4-V and they just feel more pontiac than cadillac to me, from my perspective. Would have been super neat to see what could have been if the malaise era had turned out differently and the Detroit response to it and what the Grand Prix could have been today.

Looking good tyler! I was wondering if you have hung a front fender on yet? The track width looks a bit wider than the gp

@AutoTechTyler sounds good sir!
Wow that's a slow lift.😂 LS1 fbody pan by the looks? I'm doing the underside of my foot right now. Sucks welding over head!
What happened with the 3800 wide body 5speed swap?
