Best thing about the release of the newer better longer and more expensive drivers is that there will be more used clubs available around of last years better, longer clubs. Great deals are coming!
James, I like that you hit on the course before hitting in the sim. I feel that it adds a bit of authenticity. Your swing has come a long way in the last couple years!
@@DMKFACTORSim 2 is a very solid driver. I only switched to the QI10 max because it always ended up in the fairway for 5 yard loss in distance. Hit it toe, heel. Half decent swing still in the fairway
@@robertstewart5235 I tried the Qi10 when they first came out and put it up against my PXG Gen 5 0311 which is the first 10K MOI driver! And the PXG was 5 yards longer than the Qi10 with the same exact shaft too. It was really spinny, even tried the LS and it still wasn’t close to the PXG. I bought that PXG when the Gen 6 cam out and paid 249 for it with an upgraded shaft and Winn grip installed by them! Next time you’re looking for a new driver definitely look at the PXGs. I went from 3 straight TM drivers, and I don’t think I’ll go back.
I think I missed the part where you actually explained why it was named Qi 35. Also, looking forward to the head-to-heads with Callaway. This model, only carrying 265 for you, seems to be at the back end of the pack.
@@knightriderkitt3000 One of the worst "naming stories" ever. Who counts the fitting head that consumers can't buy??? And every OEM has form, fit and function with their drivers. Lame.
@ It’s better than Callaways. They can’t even spell properly. And technically you could see the 5 as being the 5 materials that make up the clubhead as well. And the 3 being the 3 main models (excluding lite).
I'll admit they look great, but it would take a lot to get me out of my g430 LST, especially with the price of drivers and shafts lately. I'd sooner spend that money on lessons or a putter than a driver. Also, you seem very relaxed and rhythmic in your driver swing in this video Robbo, well done mate.
Similar looks to Cobra DS Adapt range (not a bad thing - both look great). But what did concern me was the lack of consistency of spin in the Golfzon sim. From 1500 rpm right up to 3200. Hmmm…🤔
Carry distance is a BIG factor here in the UK. Aside from 1 month of the year when we have fast fairways, this driver isn’t going to go anywhere. Watched RS’s review on this QI35 too and I’m very underwhelmed by the numbers
They are launching an all black version of these heads in a couple of months, so be careful about buying too early as they are releasing a different and possible upgrade very soon. The all black version is as a result of tour pro feedback, so watch this space.
Taylormade have copied the 3 year old Cobra weight system and the black out look of the last 2 heads. James is apparently excited by all that and the lack of adjustability in the hosel for a higher price. 🤣
@ appreciate that, just when you have all 6 drivers in the bag then I guess the filming is being done on the same day so data will be similar. Depends on which brand you start with, so many variables. Isn’t that why Golf is the greatest but most frustrating game in the world
I hit my old 2011 r7 a mile, and people always ask what club I use lol stiff flex shaft and old tech does more than enough, save some money and work on your swing!
Honestly, I do not think the new drivers add distance on the dead solid perfect shots. They reduce the dispersion and increase distance on the off center hits. Which is a lot for amateurs.
Much prefer the looks of this over the red and blue of past models, dont like the shadow black chromey where the shaft sits though looks cheap to me. Why are the numbers on the sim so off are they not in mph? head speed, launch, ball speed etc
mmmm i am in Canada and its 850 Canadian but with first responders price its 722 ( canadian ) 502 ( US ) still alot but i am tempted to go from my Stealth 2 HD cheers all from Canada
Callaway Paradym AI Smoke now at £349 discounted from original £599. Is it worth spending £500+ for these new releases giving you a couple of extra yards and 1-2 mph increase in swing speed 🤔
I genuinely feel sorry for club reviewers be that TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping or whatever. Trying to come up with some sort of sales pitch for the latest and greatest yet still displaying near identical performance figures to the last couple of iterations.
Yes I agree. But qi10 vs stealth was a massive improvement. Some driver models were just bad. And the consumers really don’t realize it. Everybody gave the stealth good reviews when it came out. Now I consider stealth one of the worst driver models in the past 10 years. So they do make improvements. But I think sometimes we don’t realize how bad a driver is until the next one comes out.
I think the Qi 10 will be better driver. All the heads seem to drop spin. Unless you are a very high spin player, these heads might struggle with fittings versus the competition. Seems like the LS version might be ULTRA Low spin
I’m sure there will be a better driver out next week save your money. This is all very good but most of the problem with all these clubs is the person behind the club that can’t be changed.
Every year I look forward to the new driver videos and every year it's super boring. "Oh they did this, oh they did that" it's always just same same with a few new fancy words to try and sell you a driver you don't really need. Would have been super impressed if it had LED's in those chevrons and a sound effect generator integrated into the head that i could change the sound when making connection. Perhaps a gun shot sound when you crack one right out of the centre and a fart sound when you hit from the heel. Lol. When some REAL new tech comes out I'll drop the sim2, still best driver ever.
Most of the big brands update drivers every 12 months. And most of the comments are those moaning about that. Why? It doesn't mean last years model or the one you are gaming is obsolete. But it's a business and some people are looking to buy a new driver. If your M2 or LTD or Rogue still works for you, great! These new releases are not for you. So STOP F MOANING AND GO AND PLAY.
TM just want to be the launch monitor kings again. Low spin with high launch will give good numbers. Can never be convinced with the numbers you get on this sim. Launch was really low and the club and ball speeds are odd
Watching all your videos it seems to me you are always trying for the holy grail of 300 yds total. It also seems that every driver you try just either gets there or just short of. So is there really any difference between any driver these days?
So taylormade are trying to make a driver that closes the gap, but like ping achieved last year, while adding taylormade's usual commercial nonsense. Great 😅 Save your money
£529 in UK for these online, get some lessons instead and stick with your 3 to 4 year old driver. The big brands are dividing us club golfers into the haves and have nots with their insane profit margin targets which mean higher and higher prices for us mere mortals.
So what you’re telling me is this club is head and shoulders above my TRs, Cobra Darkspeed, T.M. Stealth 2 and even my Callaway Epic (Which owns my longest drive ever) and spend upwards of 700.00$ I think NOT! Like I have always said James it’s the Driver not the driver. Get it?
All you brits are killing me. It took me about a month of watching golf club reviews to realize that you're all full of shit and will say the same repetitive buzz words to sell and stay in the good graces of TM, Callaway, Cobra, Takomo, Wilson, Mizuno, etc., I'm waiting for someone to test and just come out and say... this club is complete rubbish. But it hasn't happened. From anyone. Ever. Across the whole bloody gambit. -Peace Out

Guarantee a sim2 will out perform it. Best driver TM have made

And that people is one awesome review, looking forward to seeing one in person because I’m not sure on the crown
I have the iq10 I really enjoying it 😊well done James 👏
These do look awsome probably the best looking range of drivers I've clapped eyes on for a while 👌

Ltdx I've still got and not found anything new which betters it.
Great driver. My favorite driver ever. Cracked 2 faces and warrenty would only give me the newer model which was the aerojet. Which was woeful.
When I tested the Qi10 last year my Gen 5 PXG 0311 was 5 yards longer! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Glad I paid a whole 250 for it BRAND new!

@FullContactDrummer brilliant driver
You were getting greater distance with the new callaway. Will that change when you test them head to head?

the standard head and max are very low spinning for those heads need to loft up i think
