Two egg TV….on our way to PC every year, we went through the thriving metropolis of two egg, it was always kinda the informal “half way to PC” for us. I’m sure the roads have taken some of the traffic away from two egg but for one small kid growing up in the 70’s, it always got me a lil excited to see the two egg sign. Good work, enjoy your videos…..having grown up in South Georgia, I’m familiar with most places, but this one is new to me.
Glad that we could show you a new spot! Yes, Two Egg was once a major stop for Georgia traffic on the way to the beaches. The roads have passed it by for the most part now and the little stores have gone. Thank you for the nice words!
It is gorgeous! You would absolutely believe that you are in the mountains and yet you come up out of that ravine and there are peanut fields just over the hill.
@@rgriffinRETIRED_SHEEPDOG We really appreciate that! We love what we do. Spring and summer give us the time and weather to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Then we spend the fall and winter focused on history and mysteries. When you combine the two, we think that it gives us some great content to share.
Great video. And you got to see the backside of water! 😅🤣😂 I noticed in the background of the falls there seems to be a brick structure. Is that the remnants of the factory? Keep having fun! Cheers!
Hello Gorgeous Georgia Ladies! I moved to the region a few years ago and Now starting to explore all these great gems! This beautiful waterfall I will def. check out soon! I was heading to Cherokee NC a few weeks ago and noticed the Chattahoochee river was very low?
It is a good ways north of Coheelee Creek. If you head on to Blakely from Coheelee Creek, take the bypass around like you are going to go to Kolomoki Mounds, pass Chancey Mill Road and Freeman Mill Road, then take the next left onto River Street. Follow it all the way out to Old River Road. You will pass the historic Sardis Cemetery on the right just before you get to Old River Road. Turn Right on Old River Road, follow it down into the hollow to the bridge over Factory Creek. The falls are just downstream to your left. There is an informal trail, but you will hear them as soon as you get out of the car.
@@TwoEggTV Sounds complicated lol. Took my old hound dog swimming at Coheelee yesterday. Would you believe someone left a baby diaper under the bridge, didn't see it until after swimming down stream. Nasty! Thank for posting.
Yes, it is private but they have not objected in the many years that we have known about it so hopefully people will continue to keep it relatively clean and things will remain that way.
@@josephmorin8941 We know the Lake Park area. In fact, we were just in Valdosta working on some stories, so keep your eye out for them. They will be coming this fall.
It is right where Old River Road crosses Factory Creek near Blakely, Georgia. Get out of your car at the bridge and you will hear the falls. Just follow the informal trail to the west.
It is indeed south of the fall line, which is at Columbus on the Chattahoochee River. There are hills and ravines in southern Georgia, it is just a matter of seeking out spots where there is a good potential for waterfalls. Falls are extremely rare and ones of this size are rarer still.
I watch as many waterfalls as I can find. Those falls are very nice. Thanks for the video Lovely Ladies.
You are very welcome! Thank you for watching!

Well, someone asked it I knew why the name was “two egg” but I guess they deleted their post?

The river seems to be running at high normal stage right now. The falls were running pretty good for August!
Nice
Thank you!
Neat!

I am surprised that southern Georgia would have waterfalls, since it seems pretty flat and isn’t it south of the fall line?

Very nice ladies. Although it’s shaded , Sun screen and gator watches are necessary.
We always use sunscreen and don't worry, we keep an eye out for gators. There were none to be seen.
