The temperatures up in these high elevation areas are really nice and chilly. You forget momentarily that you're in the Philippines. It's literally California weather for me.

I hiked up to canlaon crater in 2008 and sat on the edge of it. What a beautiful site it was. I wish we can hike it again, but it remains closed due to the volcano's activity.
