I don't think it was quite there, I didn't expect a fish that big for sure! I was expecting smaller jacks haha! But yes...if I go out again a bigger net is needed! Was a tight squeeze haha!

Jig flies are excellent, so much so that I bought some kit and started tying my own.
Easy to unhook too, no tangled death rolls etc.

Probably one of the bigger pike in a river that size. So that’s a decent fish.
I got my jig fly a few weeks back and have caught some nice pike on it and a few small bass . It’s looking mangled now though
