That's what happened to me. Got my black hair highlighted, had to dye back to black cuz of mandatory rotc, then wanted to dye the tips blue but ended up orange after bleaching. Now I'm trying to make my hair all natural again before attempting to color it 😂
Yeah that's backwards lol, the larger molecules actually come out faster! The reason you get red/orange after black is bc those are the underlying pigments in darker hair colors (level 5 and darker) so those just get exposed when you take out the blues and greens that make up the black/brown color
Huh, I just did a Google check before writing my original comment idea but it turns out that there's a lot of very conflicting information about dye molecule sizes, with some sites saying red is the biggest and others saying that blues are the biggest. Regardless, I was gonna say that I kinda unintentionally made my hair dye really work for me as I have both pink and purple segments in my hair and, while the pink has completely faded, the purple still remains as a pastel hue. I'm lazy so haven't topped up the colour for like 6 months but it's still there!
Just be aware that this can absolutely fry your hair. I tried it over again thinking that it would be fine, and my hair ended up just as fried as it used to from bleach.
It doesn't chemically fry the hair the same way bleach does by any means, it does however strip the hair of LOTS of moisture, leaving it feeling similar to the results of bleach, but it won't fry/melt it off like bleach
Im excited, you and your husband are absolutely amazing and adorable. I hope this works out for ya, i reckon one or two more tries and it will work. Love ya videos and love you and your husbands humour ❤🥰
Just use a color remover or bleach wash, it's quicker and easier !! Doesn't matter how many times you've dyed your hair , vit c tablets just don't really help much. Also doing it over and over again can end up being more damaging then just bleaching it. But I really just recommend a color remover!!
I tried hair colour remover once, it made my hair soo dry and I dont know why. Not sure what else I can do cause my hair is kinda damaged so I'd rather not bleach it
Don't worry. It can melt your hair off depending on the chemicals in previous color or treatments. Side note for other people who may see this... Just because your can't tell a service was done on your hair (color has faded, or it was only temporary) unless all that hair has been cut off... it IS there. Hair grows roughly half an inch a month. so for chin length hair that's over a year of growth. When stylist ask about previous services we don't mean can you still see it. It means if there is any hair left on your head that has had chemicals of ANY kind. Even something "natural" like henna( one of the worse offenders for disrupting later hair services involving and chemical. Color, relaxer, brazilian blow out, whatever.) I had to fix this diy hair "hack" in the salon for several people
Yesss I did this with my hair as well a few months back. I have dark hair and I wanted my dye to show more, so I bleached it. It was blue, and then I did this, and it went right back to blonde. 10/10 definitely recommend it!
@@SmexyMinion I mean… its not not damaging. It’s extremely drying. Depending on what you’re working with and what you’re going for, you might be better off just doing a bleach wash instead
You'd be surprised how well VitC powder and clairifying shampoo works. 3 sessions 40 minute sessions and i went from level 2 brown black to redye it level 5 medium auburn brown. Not damaged even a little.
@@andromedaspark2241 ….if you want to believe that leaving clarifying shampoo on your whole head for 3 sessions of 40 minutes each didn’t damage your hair more than one 20-30 minute bleach wash… be my guest.
You’re hair is gorgeous!…don’t destroy it like that you’re better off with some sort of a bleach wash …that vitamin c will just strip your hair of its natural oils making it dry and brittle, fray your cuticle, and any color you try to do afterwards will fall out of that frayed cuticle making it fade almost immediately…and girl your color is on point!
Hmm, this does make sense. Basically, this is a citric acid treatment of your hair. Not knowing how concentrated this would be (how many tablets or the efficacy of the brand of tablets) or the chemical reaction with Head and Shoulders shampoo, I could see this working. A word of caution however, this is still citric acid. I do not know how aggressive this is to your hair. Perhaps give it a couple weeks and use heavy conditioner over the next few days. Homeopathic remedies can still be pretty potent.
I don't know if your talking about the citric acid that might be used as eccipient in the vit C tablets, but Vitamin C is actually ascorbic acid, whereas citric acid is the acid that Is found in lemon juice for example... And naturopathic is probably a better definition (even though it is still a matter of chemistry from my point of view), since homeopathy is actually based on hugely diluting the active ingredient (look it up).

@brandyhorne4645 hi! Well, kefir it's like an yogurt, without any flavor. But a little bit liquid.
