In the late seventies and early eighties the Rockpalast concert's got broadcasted every sunday evening on German WDR. I still remember this great Pirates gig. What a fantastic band with such an unique sound and style. Pure energy! Very sad that current rock bands can't play like that.

the pirates are awesome. mick influenced generations of rockers from the beatles(he played with paul mccartney for years -he and david gilmour on guitars) to dr feelgood(wilko's main inspiration)

I still can't figure out why these guys never made it bigger than they did. Way more talent than half the bands out there. Frickin awesome rockers.
