Triple H didn't need the perfect retirement match, his transition to management was enough and was the best conclusion to his career and storyline. He played the game and won.
that last sentence is poetic man props.
@@conormcgregor8451 I got chills reading that too.
Damn I remember when he first said he is the game and now he's head of creative and managing talents he's been the game all around LOL
Perfect words, man ...
Damn never thought of it this way
What I like about triple h is that he doesn’t sound over prepared for every question with a corporate answer. Seems real.
Initially I was thinking that was a bad thing but the more he spoke the more reassured I felt.
He promos hahhaa it’s awesome
Dana White vibes
@@Math_Yeww the WWE hopes but I doubt it.
Unlike Nick Khan
He's been in the game for over 25 years, plus has been under the tutorage of Vince McMahon. I'm 100% sure he knows what to do
Idk if I’m tweaking and I’m not tryna hate😭but ain’t it tutelage not tutorage
He is “the game”
Yeah and he was also there and knew about what Vince was doing
@@kingvidz5155 straight hating
He knows he needs to do the opposite of what Vince has done since about 2007.
He’s been waiting for this moment and we are all here for it.
The sentence „ i want ideas from everybody“ is exactly what vince did not do for the last 10 years and the work enviroment with triple h will get a new level thats a benefit for everybody working for the company
Vince wanted ideas from everybody too, problem was that was a cape and just did whatever he wanted to do anyway
Vince took other people's ideas, He just didn't care for them. He took Bray Wyatt's idea for The Fiend and let it happen but when it wasn't going how HE wanted it to go, He buried and ruined the entire character in ring.
As someone who watched WWF since being a toddler with my grandparents, through the Attitude Era in my teens, through WWE until it just became way too stale I can say that HHH is the only person (alongside Heyman) that I trust to book the product right in these modern times, those men truly keep their finger on the pulse of the business at all times.
All I can say is. From the moment I watched wrestling, HHH was never boring to me. It didn't matter who or what he was working
Summer Slam provided a lot of positive signs
Best way I have heard it out. I too remember the WWF and I too watched from the Attitude era (which I watched religiously, including every pay per view) through the time around about when the Nexus came onto the scene. When Evolution was formed I was starting to lose interest somewhat but I kept watching until around the time Rey Mysterio became champion. Then it got boring. Triple H has been able to play any role given. His best work was as a heel but he had the comedy part down as part of DX to being the Cerebral Assassin. He has come so far and has always seemed to be a genuine good guy who knows what he wants to see which is what the people want to see. I bet a new age version of HHH playing the Vince Role during the attitude era could happen. Except a better story line.
Hopefully..I started watching wrestling back in 1975 when it was WWWF with haystacks Calhoun, Bruno, Tony Garea and Larry zybisco, and I say hopefully HHH can bring it back to the attitude type days with great storylines, gimmicks. And especially mic skills.
Jim Cornette as well
If Vince is truly out of the picture, WWE should experience a renaissance under the leadership of Triple H. He may be a polarizing figure but no one can question the passion he has for the business along with a wealth of experience both as a performer and part of management. His work with NXT is a clear example of what he can do when given the chance. Hopefully his health remains intact and is not impacted too much by the added stress and pressure of the position. A healthy HHH and a healthy WWE is what all wrestling fans worldwide need. All the best HHH.
Vince is still going to control everything and run things at home over the phone. Until he’s actually dead wwes strings will still be pulled by Vince
Lies again? Creative Zen

i think they both wacth too much big bang theory
What I love about it is he said "Its a team". Thats a far cry from when Vince was running the show and I respect Vince (mainly for the fact he created this company that made me fall in love with Pro Wrestling). Don't care for his demeanor and his lack of understanding how to book in 2022. But this is Triple H's time now and it was a long time coming. Happy for him. Excited for the change that is on the way.
I loved it too. Until he mentioned Kevin Dunn. The one who gives us terrible pacing and wobbly camera shots during brawls.
@@TheProkonover exactly but hopefully HHH does us pro wrestling fans justice
Vince always described it as a team
@@TheProkonover To be fair, I can understand keeping him around for now as WWE is going through a big transitionary period and all their business partners want stability. So, I could see him sticking around for a little longer, but I definitely think Kevin Dunn is gonna be gone by the end of the year.
@@bennygilbert8764 even tho I want him to just leave but that might be the smart thing to do
Respect to Triple H for being able to work hard and take on this big responsibility
hes been watching too much big bang theory i know it
Once HHH said he was good health wise that’s all that matters.
hes healthy because he watched too much big bang theory every day and every night over and over same episodes to help his brain think of summer slam
I can see that new appreciation for life in Paul's demeanour. I can remember looking at behind-the-scenes footage before and he looked stressed or irritable - a super-serious face (thinking of being interviewed during his lunch while prepping for a Wrestlemania match or walking around all-access and "being annoyed" by Steph).
Now, he looks passionate, grateful, open. I hope this translates to a transformative product for WWE. I'll be interested to see the new direction!
Totally agree. And btw that video of Triple H and Stephanie walking around Mania access and he's just visibly annoyed while Steph's having a good time chatting with the interviewer is a cherished gem of comedy for anyone who's seen it. LMAO
He played the game and won
and now it’s time for war
He planned it all the day he became Vinces workout buddy.
He could drop dead from his heart problems within a year, I wouldn't start celebrating just yet..
whenever he married Stephanie he sealed the deal had it on lock
Boy this transparency is gonna take some time to get used to
Student of the game, undying love for the business, and a ton of years of experience spanning throughout the lean years, the attitude era, and all the eras since! Huge congrats to The Game, he’s got this!
Triple H proved why he’s “THE GAME” in the ring. Now he’s gonna prove why he’s “THE GAME” as The Head Of WWE Creative he’s been around this business a long time and knows the in’s and out’s. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for The WWE Universe It’s Time To Play The Game, behind the scenes!
No doubt. He is already a better booker than Bill Watts, Dusty Rhodes, Bill Dundee, Kevin Sullivan and Jerry Lawler in my mind. The only person that can beat him is VKM himself.
He is indeed the Game of booking.
@@KennyOmegasCavity o0 hmm.... strange comment
He already proved that because NXT under Triple H was an amazing wrestling show.
@@arvindshastry1178 damn right!
@@arvindshastry1178 I thought it was ok at times but never amazing. I find 'modern' wrestling to be largely boring though.
HHH officially has the greatest story in wrestling.
I believe he will do well. He is old school but still connected in a way that Vince wasn’t. Wish him nothing but great things
Honestly, i have more confidence in Paul than anybody else in the entire industry. Hes 100% the best person to run Creative and Talent. Wish him all the very best!
notice he said "athlete", not "sports entertainer". This is promising!
HHH seems more humble and happy. I'm happy for him, hope he does well in his new role.
He seems like he always did to be honest.
yea but ... hes been watching so much big bang theory its having an effect on him
He's sounds like he's been ready for this for years!
He finna take it to next level 🔥🔥🔥
This is a new chapter for the WWE. I hope HHH is up to the job and is allowed to do what he needs to do.
true but i cant help but mention it seems like hes been watching too much big bang theory and i can tell
The product as a whole will be awesome under Triple H. Raw, Smackdown and NXT.
🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
As long as he can keep his health. Dude is doing a very stressful job while having a pacemaker on his heart.
We aren't going to see the changes take place tomorrow, or Monday, or the following week, but give it 2-3 months, and I think we're really going to start to see the end of Vince Mcmahon's ways of thinking, and the beginning of Hunter's creative process, and for the first time in 10 plus years, I'm genuinely excited for what is coming with the WWE
Idk bro...wrestlemania seeds are usually planted at summerslam
We are literally seeing the changes now
@@ForeiignSir Where? Lmao
Seth vs Riddle was taken off SummerSlam. That was Triple Hs doing and supporting he's gonna get a mystery opponent for Seth
@@ZoobleZi I would say the only segment that wasn’t touched the past raw was the Miz/Paul stuff.
Well, it's about damn time! Triple H deserves it, & he'll take it to new levels.
That's the most down to earth response I've heard hunter ever reply in an interview with.
I always hated HHH growing up, but I feel like he’s a good dude. Good to see.
I was thinking the same thing. Like this dude might actually turn this whole thing around . Not that I watch anymore . But I might start bk up. Let's see how he does .
Most of the people changed their minds because he ran NXT like an indie company. Most people who comment online about wrestling tend to enjoy workrate guys. HHH smartly leaned on the people who hated him during his in ring career to help a 3rd brand. Now he can help a product meant for the entire audience NOT just opinionated people online.
@@davyjones2032 I'd take work rate merchants over spot fest merchants
Same. I was never a fan of him but I am looking forward to what he will bring to the table both good and bad.
Above all else, please stay healthy Mr. Levesque! Looking forward to what changes are going to be implemented over the next 3, 6, 9, 12 months and beyond!
It's gonna be so hard but he's been practicing for decades for this job. We almost lost him not long ago so I hope the job doesn't stress him out any more than his previous position.
He made NXT soo good especially during 2019. 2019 NXT was better than Raw and Smackdown. NXT WARGAMES AND NXT WORLDS COLLIDE were great and I know he'll make WWE greater alongside Paul Heyman. We need Roman Reigns vs Seth "Freaking" Rollins at Survivor Series.10 years of them in WWE competing for who is the best in WWE now💯🔥
Lets go HHH. New era of WWE.
I haven't watched wrestling in years but this man is still one of my idols
Triple H with his combined willingness to work with Talent and his natural connectivity to people and his raw knowledge of the business and his raw passion for the business, this could easily be the beginning of the next wrestling boom....
Growing up watching WWE was amazing and it really made a big impact on my childhood, I started to watch it again a few years ago however it didn't live up to what it used to be. Now Triple H is taking over and will hopefully bring back some attitude to the company and some real swagger, I would definitely start watching it again.
Love the first answer, total promoter. WWE is hopefully going back to the famous eras we had previously. 🤞🤞
Hunter just seems like such a humble guy. I hope he's so sucessful as he deserves it.
he deserves it if he stops watching too much big bang theory every night (and i can tell)
I haven’t followed wwe since like 2010 but I think H will for sure fill those shoes. Hopefully it’s watchable for people older than 12..
For real it's watchable for people older than 12 depend the feud and the wrestler.
triple H has been watching too much big bang theory since 2010 coincidentally
The passion that trips has for the business is the main reason why I love it to this day he was a helluva wrestler performer always had an eye for the business never seemed to let ego get in the way when it came to promoting the right talent and that has transitioned over to NXT I can’t wait to see what comes after summerslam for the main roster as well as NXT what new talent comes thru and what familiar faces we’ll see
King looks happy to finally be sitting on his throne 👑 Kliq for booking committee 🤘 We're Taking Over
I can't believe one of my favorite wrestlers is now In charge of Raw, Smackdown and NXT that's mad lol definately gonna check some shows out in the future
Triple H looks like he knew what he was wishing for when wanted to take over. Hope he doesn’t regret it, so far by the looks of it, he seems to be all for it
I think he will be great as long as the stress of the job does not effect his health. He already has a pacemaker on his heart.
6:48 I love how H's shirt collar is uneven: that's how authentic and genuine Trips is!
I can not think of a single wrestler or person I would rather run or help run WWE!!! Triple H has my blessing and full support!!!

@@SilenceTheSacred what is big bang theory
@@xzrex6908 The Big Bang Theory is an American television sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom served as executive producers on the series, along with Steven Molaro, all of whom also served as head writers. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007, and concluded on May 16, 2019, having broadcast 279 episodes over 12 seasons.[3]
The show originally centered on five characters living in Pasadena, California: Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), both physicists at Caltech, who share an apartment; Penny (Kaley Cuoco), a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's similarly geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar).[4][5] Over time, supporting characters were promoted to starring roles, including neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik), microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski (Melissa Rauch), and comic book store owner Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman).

For years of not enjoying WWE due to boring characters, annoying pushes, needlessly overextended promos and matches, and go nowhere storylines this change from Vince to HHH is a great relief and is exciting to think about what changes will take place.
It will be a great thing to be able to enjoy WWE as a whole again if things improve, instead of just watching for certain people to come on then change the channel after they are done.
Monday for Raw, Wednesday for Dynamite, and Friday for Smackdown then Rampage sounds like a good week to me. I hope it all works out.
So happy to see HHH in good spirits and healthy, becoming head of creative is the best thing to happen to WWE 👏👏👏

There are small change already made to Raw and SD. For example, no long promo segment, a match to start the show which is very rare and everyone get and entrance screen time.
Trips was in charge of the black and yellow brand and he took it to the next level in comparison to raw and smackdown. I can safely say that both brands will experience a renaissance of new ideas across the board, and now that the PG era has been shelved the skies the limits. Right now it's a good time to be a wrestling fan.

The rush-tensity from Triple H's enterance to the ring was definitely better than anything I've seen thus far. Even Goldberg's only seemed somewhat close, while Hawk and Animal's thirdly as best recalled. However, if a wrestler can get the first part so on key, then good chance there's good expectations to follow and even in an eventual new position as Head of WWE.
