Thanks for this great video. They wanted to charge my wife $66.00 to put in a low beam bulb. It cost me $18.00 and 7 minutes of my time. Not possible without your great video!
I'm sitting at AAA now and they thought they were going to charge me $100+ for the bulb and $300+ for labor! Ridiculous! For less than 3 minutes of work. Thank you for this! I feel confident I can do this myself.
This is great. I was able to replace both in less than 30 minutes thanks to this direct, no fluff video! As I was changing the damaged light, I noted it wasn't even secured properly initially. May or may not have been the result of it being damaged now. Anyway, thank you!
Just got my c300 from my parents since they don’t use it has a bunch of issues that you’ve taught me how to fix you deff need more subs and likes 10/10 would show my friends your stuff. It’s short and gets to the point and super helpful :)
If I was them I would’ve charged you $300!!! This shit is super frustrating if you’re a guy with big hands, especially if the driver’s side needs changing. I almost divorced my fucking wife cause she wanted this car instead of just going with a low maintenance Lexus, Toyota, or Honda. These cars eat bulbs like they’re candy!😡
Hey Guys thanks so much for the video -- ordered two 2009 C300 bulbs (H7 CVB2) on Amazon last night for $20 and they arrived today. Video was spot on. Thanks to your help-- I'm back up and running with two new and much brighter low beam lights. 'My 2009 did have a slightly different configuration than the video (mine has a large clip that folds over the back to lock it down) but seeing it all in your exploded view it was easy to see what I needed to do. You guys are great -- and saved me big $$$$.
You did a GREAT job showing how to do this! I was able to change my left beam, BUT having trouble getting the right one back in place, beneath the two screws. Can I loosen the screws a little bit to get it back in place? Thanks very much!
As seen by other vids of the W204 there are different types of connection of the actual bulb and the electricity given device. This video was the right one for our W204. Good to see how to disconnect the bulb from the base - actually very easy if one knows ;-) Beim W204 gibt es verschiedene Arten, wie das Leuchtmittel mit dem kabelgebendem Element befestigt wird. Hier im Video ist endlich mal die Variante gezeigt, die ich brauchte und es geht einfacher als erwartet ;-)
Great video guys !and explained well . Great you have a 'old unit ' to show .... I just need much smaller hands .Mercedes Certainly do not make it easy for us all .
Make sure to double check what lights your car has before ordering. My c350 w204, for example, has HID xenon low beams so you can't just replace the bulb out as shown in the vid.
Great tutorial video, thanks. I have a 2014 MB C250, can anyone please recommend what type of LED or HID bulbs I need to replace the factory high/low beans and the parking light?
You fail to mention, that there's an "O" ring, a round WASHER that rests in there. I don't know if it fits on the portion/cap that you're pulling OUT, or the headlight component...it will probably fit either. I say this, because mine fell OUT when simply removing the cap/cover, & had I not SEEN it fall out, it would not have been seen & even if the cap fits back on fairly tight, it would be subject to water/moisture. I don't know,, as I was fortunate to see it fall out, or actually it fell on my hand where I FELT it. *EDIT:* This is crazy, because I'm trying to get mine out and mine will *NOT* turn out to release however it may be seated in there. I don't know...this is sad, Is it not? LOL. There seems to be some sort of a CLIP or s/thing holding it in. I don't want to force a/thing TOO hard, else s/thing is bound to crack/snap I've got an '08 model. I'll search further for my specific model, as it seems to go in differently.
The W204 was from 2008-2014 for North America. For Europe it was from 2007-2013. NEITHER OF WHICH WENT TO 2015, 2015 was the first year of the w205 for North America, and the second year for Europe.
I have a 2008 w204 and mine has weird wire clips holding it in. It looks OEM but nothing like this one. You said this one was 2015? Mine has the exact same body style so you'd think it would be the same. I can't get them to actually be secure. The bounce around and fall out of place.
I recently had my alternator repaired and now I am getting a power steering error and ABS error, are you familiar with this issue? I have a 2009 C350 @AutorRepairGuys
I have a 2009 C-300 Sport and my low beams were held in differently than this. I had to remove the wire connector first and then there was a metal clip that held the bulb in place that I had to move.
i dont understand it when people are saying..i want to change the high beam bulb..or i want to change the low beam bulb..every car i have owned, including my present E320 CDI merc, have both low and high beams in the same bulb..you cannot change one or the other..if a high beam isn't working..or a low beam isn't working..you have to change the whole bulb..are these so called leds not the same..answers please.

Hi which bulb do I need? I keep looking for hid lightbulbs but different wattage are coming up.
2014 c 250
@@pershamackinting5662 it’s a late reply but always go to a autozone or any shop and ask the clerk they will give you the correct bulb!
I would’ve charged you $80🤣

3:27 This tip tells you everything!! I watched tens of replacement videos and this small tip is the one I needed the most! Thanx a lot.

Great video. Especially the last part of demonstration on a dismounted light was very helpful.
Thank you for this video. I just replaced a low beam on my 2012 C250 and this video helped me out a great deal. I appreciate it
You guys could not make this any easier. Even linking the part in the description. Thank you!

Thank you, helped me figure out how to pop off the bulb.
Went to a Firestone today and they wanted $135 to replace my low beam light. Walked right outta there lol
Sarah Ciszek wtf you can literally get a good pair for 30 bucks

@@GeorgiaMade404 my bulbs have lasted a long time I have only replaced both low beams and have had the car since 2014
@@GeorgiaMade404the driver side is definitely more difficult and even moreso with big hands.
Superb video. Just changed a bulb on my car thanks to this.
Very helpful video
Got a replacement bulb for my merc at Halford for £11 but evaded the £8 fixing fees with the help of this video
Great video. I like that you showed the process on a separate detached light. Thanks
Thank you. I’ve managed to install a new bulb using these instructions. Very helpful.
Just used your video to my my bulbs. Thank you the broken headlamp assembly at the end was awesome!!
Mercedes dealership wanted $144 for this...thanks to u I did it myself for $16!!
You guys have showed me how to do so many random things on various european cars, cheers
THANK YOU BOSS, your video out of hours of looking was the only one that clearly was able to help me change my bulb🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Thanks for video saved me a trip to the dealer
changed my low beam lights in 5 mins. Great video. The auto repair shop quoted me $106
Excellent video 👍

Same here. 2011 c300 and I also needed the HID lights. That's a pretty decent price jump between the two bulbs also
Still have the c350?
Thx for the Help!
Awesome video! I'm definitely not a car guy, and this was extremely concise and helpful! Salute!
Thank you.

I was a water container behind my left light bulb so I have to remove it to replace them?
Joe Favela Thanks and yeah I ended up only removing the fastener for my High-beams. Didn’t need to remove anything for my low beams

I have a 2009 C-300 Sport and my low beams were held in differently than this. I had to remove the wire connector first and then there was a metal clip that held the bulb in place that I had to move.
bkatbamna how did you remove the metal clip? Mines is like this as well
You have to push the clip down and move it around the hooks that are holding it in place. Its a little tricky but don't use a lot of force.
