The point of us separating a IS to have open borders, in the PNW we plenty of neighborhoods that are forcibly cut in half because of that damned US/Canada border, you can't go see your neighbor without literally becoming a felon, we want to be able to walk free in OUR country, no borders, no tension and no hate, Cascadians want a simple Ludditeish society at the end of the day, just lumberjacks chopping trees, forest rangers keeping the nature preserved and farmers feeding those who need it, at least the the Utopian idea in reality we would probably turn into a less shit version of Canada.

Big government isn't the same as tyrannical government. Before the civil war the federal government was tiny by modern standards but was plenty tyrannical if you weren't white.

last time i checked there were two map proposals: one of the states oregon, washington, and british columbia. and one encompassing the bio region. im not sure which one is preferred within the movement itself, and if the bio region one is more preferred, then i wouldnt be opposed to using it instead if i post another cascadia video

The Cascadian movement that isn’t NTI is a bioregionalist movement, one that criticizes the idea of the current state/provincial borders, and as far as I’m aware is the largest bioregionalist movement in the world, although I may be incorrect.
