As soon as I identify amber on the physical bud I'm watching everyday. I like very little amber. I've noticed that the bud will definitely continue to swell during this stage so it's a day to day deal. I've gone all the way to 20% amber and that can take up ro 2 more weeks depending on the cultivar and how often you're watering, but for me the smoke is way better when she's all cloudy.
