I've explained the Mind thing in reply to the other comment here. As for BP, I got a lot of skill points from making potions/eating plants, finding magic stones that give free points; equipped accessories also contribute some (+10 from two rings, +15 from amulet).
Ok, but tell me how you reached chapter 4 with these stats, because if I remeber correctly this is when you receive rune stone and are able to cast spells not from scrolls. Nevertheless, nice video!
@@swaniewski89 This was the second playthrough, I already knew where everything is more or less, so I just ran around the map collecting all the free weapons/accessories and stat boosts to be able to deal with basic enemies and quests without investing points in any stats or talents (I've only learned animal gutting, lock picking and potion brewing); then I gathered a bunch of bygone artifacts and killed the bandits for Ruin Raiders quest using spell scrolls which gave me access to raider's Mind trainer. And so I've been able to put all my saved points into Mind and equip 96 damage axe (that I've looted from northern ruins) in chapter 1. That axe + over 50 base focus + accessories that boost bleed and make you deal double damage after using skill make everything in chapters 1-3 completely trivial. And finally in ch4 you unlock magic and the game is done at that point, haha :) E: Doing raider's quest in ch1 also allows you to buy best legendary weapons in the game from their shop as early as ch2 (maybe even ch1, not sure) if you have enough money.
@@GoldenSilverYT Wow, I didn't expected such a comprehensive response :) Do you think switching that axe to Thorny Cestus trinket is viable as what I understand early chapters you were bleeding enemies out. Alternatively using a bow to build focus quickly, but it would require talent points investment, so not sure if this is the right direction. Currently I am in red tower and my character has around 66 baseline focus points, which allows me to cast firey shout. This is my first run though, so there is still a lot of room for improvement and your video is the best example for that :)
@@swaniewski89 I'm not 100% sure as I haven't specifically tested it, but from my understanding bleed damage scales with your weapon damage/strength bonus. So using a weapon with high base damage to compensate for low strength is better than bare fists for dealing damage with bleed, plus the weapon damage itself helps a lot. As for ranged weapons, I haven't used them at all on either playthrough, so no idea how useful they are. E: Actually, I've just went ahead and tested it, and as I thought weapon damage clearly affects bleed damage. Punched training dummy with Cestus 3 times and couldn't even notice bleed damage, but with 144 damage 1h sword even after 1 Wound skill bleed procs were noticeable.
@@GoldenSilverYT Wow, thanks for testing and letting me know. Clearly my knowledge on game mechanics is not enough yet to try builds other than straight-forward melee fighting :)
How did you get 128 pts just in mind alone? With lvl 23 i reach a battle prowress if 85.
