My uncle moved from Tallahassee to Tulsa when he was six years old and when he was 14 years old, he relocated to Denver as his aunt and uncle took him in (He lived near 24th and Stout) and he went to East High School where he was on the 1964 Basketball and Track and Field state championship teams. He graduated that same year. He worked as a curator for the Portland Art Museum, Denver Art Museum and Wings Over The Rockies (He spent six years in the Naval Reserve and 20 years in the Air Force as a mechanic and maintenance man)
