My first date 21 years ago was with my wife and a disposable camera. They will always have a special place in my heart with my future wife sitting on my Harley
6:13 Used to do this in high school. You could still have fun with the camera that way even after all the shots were taken. I bought a Fuji disposable this summer, and it wouldn't do it. Kind of disappointed.
I've had good luck buying expired disposables for cheap and harvesting the film. Also have found several used ones over the years naked in mud, one I was able to develop and get some crazy found art.
I'm starting to look for that too. Then you can repurpose the lenses to make a body cap lens or just send a box full of the shells to some place that will recycle them.
Have you worked on your MZ pentax camera yet? As a reccomendation, the MZ series cameras made in the Philippines with serial above 5****** are said to be a reliable batch. Brass lead gear, not a plastic one.
If that's all you got, sure. I am old enough to remember these and they take bad pictures with too much flash. In a word, they suck. But if you like blown-out blurry light leak aesthetics, they're for you.
Another thing NOT to do with a disposable camera: When I was in electronics class in college a classmate opened up a disposable camera and extended the wires off of the flash. He proceeded to use it like a taser/spot welder for the rest of the day. Multiple times the wires got welded to a desk or chair and he would have to charge up the flash to arc them free. Do not do that. EDIT: for the record, he never zapped someone with it at full charge. He was always smart about being incredibly stupid.
Don’t throw those cameras away. Use them and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the results. Go to the park and take photos of the autumn foliage. Enjoy the film experience 👍🏻

Well I guess I'll go throw the two Fujifilm disposables I brought on vacation last week IN THE GARBAGE.
I think they are perfect vacation cameras, this is just more of a, “if you wanted something different” piece
