Arrest yes ! The master at work 🎶👀👍Bravo Phil from down under Melbourne Australia 👍😍
Thank you Phil...
....and narration by Nigel Ogden. I was headphone GLUED on every single Wednesday on BBC Radio 2 for 'The Organist Entertains'. Can't mistake his voice ;-) That was always my 'private time'. The entire world stopped for me when this show aired.
I still miss it. I think 'From This Moment On' is underplayed. The thrill as it fired up at the start of the show. i was lucky enough to see Nigel in concert and he (obviously I guess) opened with it.
Excellent concert, great music. Thank you to everyone involved.
Firstly, the craftmanship in the design of The Compton and The Wurlitzer organs is simply pure genius and it takes a true Master to give them the opportunity to really entertain. Phil Kelsall is just that. Truly brilliant, talented, with the ability to switch moods to any given number he gives us. Remarkable and gifted organist.
Gosh, Phil ... you're sooo damned good!!!
meet you there 🎹 😉 🙏
great to see phil and to hear him play , reminds me of years ago when they would have a section of playing in the tower and say this is not for dancing , miss being there , my good friend passed away few years ago she was wounderfull lady great enthusiasm for the wurlitzer and the electronic organ
Reminder set. Alarm set. Space on the settee booked. Ready and waiting.
Great to hear some Disney tunes that you rarely hear played by Phil. Great showmanship as always... Thank you!
Excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed that.
Although overlooked, perhaps by the big names like Wurlitzer and moller, the Compton was a fine maker of organs for theatre and even churches ! Some of their pipe work may even eclipse Wurlitzer? But this is a fine example of their brand and sounds great ,there maybe even Wurlitzer pipe work lurking away in there, too? But Phil always gets the sound just right out of any organ in his charge!
I worked for a guy many, many moons ago, who was an organ builder restorer and he always said Compton built the worlds best cinema organ!
The one I used to hear on holiday in Plymouth was definitely at the top of my favourite instruments !
Yet another fabulous concert, thank you Phil for a wonderful choice of music and to all the team at the Astoria well done.
that finale haha 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Very nice Phil! Excellent performance and amazing organ.
I can't believe I forgot to tune in last night to watch the premier! But just now watched it all, what a fabulous concert, especially the Great American Songbook selection, my particular favourite kind of music. Thanks Phil and the Astoria team, it's sounding great. You're doing a great job, Chris and I are looking forward to a real visit when we can.
No biggie , its youtube , videos will always be here to re watch
Absolutely superb
wonderful love it!
Phil, Fabulous, as always, but for the second time tonight on different organists, I am distracted by the hideous socks for some reason. Black or plain colours are best.
