    Ede was agog when the distinguished members of the Bursars' Association of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology (BURSCON) recently visited the renowned Aafin Ilu art center as part of their 49th Regular Meeting activities.
    The delegation, led by BURSCON President Salisu L. Ladan, was warmly received by Prince Adewale Laoye, CEO of Aafin Ilu and popularly known as the "Drummer of Peace." The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, under the leadership of Rector Engr. Dr. Sani Man Yahaya and Bursar, Prince Caleb Olanrewaju Olagunju happens is the host of the statutory meeting.
    Prince Laoye, a respected cultural ambassador, provided the visitors with an enlightening presentation on the educational aspects of Yoruba drums. The BURSCON delegates were thoroughly engaged, paying rapt attention to the cultural insights shared during the session.
