- I downsized from my giant Chanel Maxi double flap handbag during quarantine to my small Valentino Rockstud Spike bag. I'm quite enjoying carrying around a small bag!

The Universe Guru Yay I’m so glad you got the medium! I think the medium is an excellent size for a day bag that can be taken into the evening because of the rockstuds. The quality of these bags is really impressive. The leather is amazing! What colour did you get?
therealshakeen I got it in this dark pink color. To be honest it was a text message transaction with my Valentino sales rep (social distancing still) so I haven’t seen the color in real life. I have been eyeing this style of bag for years though and not sure why I never went for it. I’ll do an unboxing or something when it comes in tomorrow.

Thank you! I have the gold version which I tend to wear more for parties. Honestly, given that I don't baby it, it has held up so well. No scuffs on the leather. I think cause the rockstuds keep the leather from touching anything.
Recommend you this bag in medium size)) awesome as well 🥰 can carry all my life in this bag, even cheese for home made pizza🤪🥰

Denise Heron Thanks Denise for the kind words and for subscribing! The grey is also such a nice colour. I don’t currently have the Prada re-edition and I haven’t seen it in person. But I think it would be a great all season all weather bag that can fit a lot of items comfortably. The shape is no fuss and simple. Price point is great too!

Definitely the valentino spike bag! It is such a flexible bag! Consider the small or medium size. The poudre/blush colour is stunning!
