Firstly Elle, congratulations for everything!!! Life, your new home, family --- all of it. Excited to welcome Princess with you. With that being said, when you held your camera in front of the mirror with an outfit update, I was transported back to the Vancouver Days of 2017/18/19. You've changed so much over the years, and yet in that moment, it was you all over again, Elle, balancing life and work, and genuinely one of the most elegant personalities on the Internet. Thank you for this preview, I've been struggling with my work-life balance lately, and your video came in just at the perfect time. The advent calendar from Niederegger with marcipan and chocolate is from Lübeck, Germany (a very pretty, medival Town at the baltic sea) and that is a highly traditional brand and very high quality. In Germany, Lübecker marcipan is famous.
I always find it so interesting to see previous apartment decor in this vlog, like the plate done by your uncle, the side table and the Xmas banner. Your home is so cozy…can’t wait to see more during Vlogmas!

Thank you for another video. It's always so pretty with the Christmas lights on along with the pretty decorations and wonderful holiday smells from baking. What an exciting time in your life 💕 The cats at the end, so cute!
I like cats that are little rascals. Hot chocolate from scratch is the best!! The way we did Christmas was a little different than my friends. Christmas Eve, we would have snacks, eggnog, cider and Christmas music playing. We open all the under tree wrapped gifts from each other. Then Christmas morning there are unwrapped gifts around the tree that came from Santa and stockings were stuffed. Then a green hidden glass pickle ornament was hiding in the tree and whatever kid found it, they got an extra present. Then we have a big breakfast then the big dinner later. The way my friends did it, they would open one gift the night before, the rest in the morning. I felt the way my family does it made it feel like the 2 days went longer. I love this time of year, so I like it to not fly by fast.

I’m at week 10 of pregnancy with baby #2 and wishing so badly I had your pregnant energy to decorate and look so lovely 😅 barely able to peel myself out of bed between the extreme nausea and exhaustion from pregnancy + toddler energy. But you’re motivating me to at least get my tree up and the lights on so at least I can enjoy a cozy view from the couch 😆 excited for this series in this new chapter for you!

Great video-you look amazing. It was fun seeing you at home and out in the area. I have gotten lost in the woods one summer walking from Lakemont Park down to Matthews Grocery Store. It became a very long walk. Last winter-in the snow I was more successful on the paths in the woods and up onto the hill. Great Park. Let me know if you need other park recommendations in the area. Such a special Holiday season as you and your husband bring your baby girl into the world.

Elle it's so nice to see another video and I have a Lady Grey l hot tea while watching. Your home is so pretty. I have always wanted a kitchen aid mixer. I wear your pearls alot and your new Christmas pieces are so pretty too. The kitties are looking so relaxed. When I was pregnant with my son way back 36 years ago (yes I'm old) 😀, I had a little chihauhua who would cuddle next to me when I was pregnant and as my baby bump grew, I think he could tell I was going to have a little one and his personality changed. Do you think the kitties can tell you will have a baby soon?

Good point, although I just want it to be more lemony - so maybe it’s also the zest from the lemons I used that was a bit bland
