I had just moved to a new city. It was the first time really being on my own, no family or friends with me. One night I couldn't sleep and ended up sitting out on my balcony all night playing guitar and writing this song. I watched the lights in the apartment in front of me slowly flicker off, one by one. I watched the moon drift from one side of the sky to the other. This song is a reflection of that night, and a metaphor for loving someone. It's about admiring and thanking the person in your life who feels like moonlight- illuminating the way for you when things get dark.

I've worked in media, marketing and communications for over 25 years and the Aero Truffle ad is the first example I've ever seen of a genuine attempt to plug a young, talented artist such as you are. It was very effective and the end result is that you have a new fan in me. Ironically the only similar example I can think of is "New Earth" by Zerbin who also happen to be originally from Edmonton but now reside in Victoria. If you look up that song you'll recognize the medley in their chorus almost instantly. Keep up the great work as I know the music industry can be very difficult. I'll share your music to my followers and fans as well and hopefully your fan base will continue to grow!
I want to dedicate this song to someone who lights up my whole world since 2017. 🥺 He saved me from suicide. Since the day i met him, suicidal thoughts ripped off. He serves as an instrument of the Lord! God you are perfectly good! 🥺❤️

I love it when different cultures are intertwined through the use of instruments. The tabla -western fusion in this is amazing.
I ordered coffee at a cafe to relieve stress from work. I happened to listen to this song and it made me feel good.
