still working with it on his latest uploads, tho it's mainly used for smaller details if i see correctly. if you do as much carving as him, i'd say it's worth putting in them 300$ (from my experience with specialized products on diverse arts)
Hi Stinnett Stcks Would you do a segment that describes the burning tool you use and what tip to use when making the snake scales. Thank you for sharing your new find (the portable hand piece) it’s funny how things happen because I have tried so many that just didn’t have enough torque or just broke and for at least 8 years now I have been looking with no luck. Then I discovered you on RUclips because I was drawn to your amazing life like snake cane and by golly you did a segment on a tool I never thought existed. A portable unit that I can take with me outdoors with my trusty furry companion. This is a blessing for her as well so she’s not stuck indoors while I grind away. So thank you for introducing this tool to all your fans. I ordered one and should arrive from tree line.com in a week and I can’t wait. Thank you again for introducing this tool and yes please keep us fans up to date on how the tools been working out for you. May each day unfold to bring light onto the next Anitra
Great video Mr. Stinnett! I appreciate the unboxing and demo. I use a Foredom SR series but thought about picking a micro motor up for some finer detail work. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome, Matt! Micro motors are really great for fine details and they fit in your hand, nicely. They are kind of expensive, but I really like them.
Thank you very much Pam! I'm really glad you and your husband enjoy the videos! Pearl and I have a lot of fun trekking through the hills! I'm hoping to get out more often this summer.
Looks like a handy little tool for a minute there I was thinking that pearl thought it was something for her but I see she got a new toy so she a happy puppy. Keep up the great video's
Long time viewer, first time commenter: I gotta say, I'm a big fan of your videos. They're so calming and inspiring. I look forward to seeing them in my subscription box.
Mike, that is a very nifty little tool you've got there. Really like that it's so portable, and can just clip on to your belt and go with you. I like the price too -- LOL!!! Looking forward to seeing what you create with this little gadget. And Pearl certainly seems to be enjoying her new toy, so give her a hug from me!
I wish you many happy hours with the new tool....I'd be most surprised if any new carvings will be any better than you've made so far but, to have the ability to move around is just awesome. Enjoy my friend, enjoy 👍🏼😊

hello Mr. stinnett, I really enjoy your wood working skills, your walking sticks are a real work of art and I must say pearl is oh so cute keep up the beautiful work, t/Bone Memphis, Tennessee.
Hey Mike ! Your friend from ARKANSAS !!! Have you not been making any videos or have I been missing them !!!! Ether way good to see you and pearl !!! I like your new toy iv been looking for something like that myself !! Pearl looked like she was having FUN with her new toy to !! Well till next time see you my friend !!!!! 🐕
Howdy, Kurt! I've been making videos as fast as I can, but it takes a lot of work. I'm not sure if you've missed any or not, But it's always good to hear from you! I'm liking my new toy, too. Purl wasn't too keen on it, but she really did like her's. Talk to you later, Buddy!
Mike never seen you unboxing before and this new tool is impressive. I use a Dremel 4000 often with a flexible cable drive however the cable Dremel supply is useless, so believe it or not a cheaper Chinese cable is better and lasts really well, even got a rotary tool from China which is as good as the Dremel at a third the price, just thought I would bore you with these facts, anyway good luck with your Mystisa, look forward to your future videos as usual, Cheers from John in Berwick upon Tweed. England
I think most things are made in China, now. It's too bad that Dremel's quality has gone down hill. I've been testing the Mystisa, this week and have decided it's good for light finish work and detailing. If you use large burrs and shaping wheels it drains the batteries and only lasts about 1-1/12 hours. I checked out Berwick upon Tweed on Google Earth! What a charming place to live! From what I can see, it looks like a very nice place to live in Northeast England. Thanks for your comment! I hope you have a great week!
Mike, I have another friend who watches, and is impressed with all the works you do, and he lives in a similar named place but is nowhere near me, and it is called North Berwick not far from Edinburgh Scotland`s capital city. My friends name is George, I think he would get a kick if you looked his area up, but only if you get time of course, regards from John.
Mike can you tell me what brand/ type of electric mini grinder you use? I don't mean the Dremel type grinders as I have those but the little ones which come attached to the little electric box type with the speed dial power supply. Thanks man. Much appreciated. Keep it up sir. Great work as always. Works of art for real. To say you have only been carving for about 6 years is even more astounding. Okay what unit have used in the past? This one looks good too.
Nice unit guess I gota save up for one of these. I bought the turbo grinder and am not impresed by it. It's compressor is Loud. And the tool is week don't take much extra pressure to stop the bit.
wow that is really strong. I hope it hangs in there with you my friend. I will be here when you show the next one. because I pulled a stupid move by cranking tractor from the ground. yep it ran over me and damage my foot . week in hosp. I paid for a very crazy mistake.. 65 years old I almost made a perfect world. lol lol
Well, its been awhile since you talked about this Mystisa microcarver. I'm thinking about one. I use to hand carve, but I'm getting older and wanting to speed up the work. Please get back with me. Thank you Sir PS, really like your work, and skill.
Thanks, Santa! You should be able to speed up your production with a micromotor, haha! I think I know what your elves are getting for Christmas! The Mystisa is working great. I use it mostly for detail work. It can handle the more aggressive burrs, but the battery life will go down quickly. It lasts quite a while with the smaller detail burrs. For the heavy duty work, I use my Oz- Plus micromotor and handpiece. It has a lot of power. You can get either one at treelineusa.com Thank you much,
Thank you, Now maybe the Elves will be happier songs. I was beginning to worry. Ho hoho ho Now they can stop having to strop so often. Ho hoho ho I wish, I could come by to see you, but as you know, it's that time of year for me. Maybe later. Really Sir, much impressed with your work. PS, Have you ever carving a realistic skull." Yep, they ask for all sorts of things." Ho hoho ho I'm using a, ground dried, crepe myrtle limb, about 3.5ins in diameter. I don't get on Facebook, but I would like to see all your works. I'm also interested, later on, in investing in some of your carvings. Very impressed Maybe you'd like to work at the North Pole,,,lol, Ho hoho ho You'd make a tall Elf. I would ask, but the North Pole's getting alittle small I haven't finished, but I had to see what it looked like polished, down to wet 2000git. Thank you for get back with Santa
I like it, no cords on ground portable, and I have solar power chargers that probably would be able to charge up outdoors . But would like to see more of it being used first. And where to get one
How long does it take to do a job like the one shown in this video? I love everything I do. It's very capable of creating things that are teresantes of a normal log.
Hi dude you are my idol since i watch your video create a tiny fish :) and now im practice to carving wood :) can i ask u what device you unboxing to this video?ang how much u buy?im counting on you to answer my question.tnx a lot and godbless :)
Now that's what you call pompact . Looking forward to seeing it work out it woods . I think pearl liked her gift better then she did yours lol. Take care .
haha! Yeah, she took an excited look into that box and was done with it. She sure did like her little ball, though. I can't wait to get out in the woods and do some work with it. But it's been so hot here, this summer that I have been working by the cooler.
it's a chisel with a battery taped to it. NOW, you can have some fun and do some art in trees that you leave behind. in places where people will come across them of course. and NO BIG Rattlers to scare the death out of some poor hiker. AND, nothing for pearl? WOW, you can etch glass with that.
I use quite a few. I have posted a link under the video where you can see some that I use or recommend. Many of my burs were used for dental tech work.
So far I'm really liking this hand piece! I bought this from treelineusa.com
Stinnett Sticks do you still like it??

I am doing fine, thank you very much!
Efsoooooo
What kind of wood is that??- pine?? I always have trouble when I hit hardwood at the heart of the stick...😕 What wood do you recommend???
Yes, That is lodgpole pine. It's my favorite.
Where can i find your portable mystisa carving micromotor
treelineusa.com
it's a chisel with a battery taped to it.

hello Mike i like to know what kind of burrs you use
I use quite a few. I have posted a link under the video where you can see some that I use or recommend. Many of my burs were used for dental tech work.
