      Thanks, but guati is not found in Qeshm and in Arabian cultures, it's different from zar, noban, etc.

    I believe that this is so called " healing" session for the possessed. The two who are dancing /shaking their heads are possessed by "Jinn" or demons and the music is a way to calm the demons and entertain them.

    • @aba7324
      @aba7324 9 месяцев назад +1

      there are similar rituals in Africa and Arabian countries which is called "ZAR" where drums are played and people who are possessed with demons begin to dance.

    • @ElvinDude
      @ElvinDude 9 месяцев назад

      @@aba7324 Or Zikr in Sufi tariqa, all these rituals have the same roots, to enter a person into a meditative state to observe reality and ease the monkey mind(Demon).

    I witnessed these Guati in a wedding at Karachi around 2003/2004 first time in my life. Till this day I wonder what is the science behind all this, or maybe its just an exagerration I guess.

    could it be possible,that the expression "zor buldim" has some old connection to the zar?because in a disapeared state you also lose your self,Like in ritual..just a thought

    • @ahlefan
      @ahlefan  2 года назад +1

      no, it comes from zâr in Persian means cry, lament,, despair. Zar ritual is not at all sad, it must be an arabic word with another meaning
