@@scalestuff1066 It can be frustrating when you click on a video hoping for a brush painted technique and no one's got one, especially for German soft-edge camo.
Yeah I get that, I use spray paints for bases alot now, but the thing with airbrush guides is step one spend a few hundred quid.In real life I dont know any airbrush painters where all brush painters
@@miken8875 with me its money and time, i like the ease of cleaning brushes, when I had a basic airbrush I didnt like all the down time cleaning the thing between coats
I bought this Tamiya kit brand new a week ago and I'm giving it a winter type of paint job, very good kit and easy too. Your model looks great mate, love the paint job.
Cheers mate, how are you going about the winter paint job? Its something I want to do but need to pluck up the courage to put a white wash over the existing camo, I was going to do that on a K8? I think (the russian big headed tank) but couldnt bring myself to do it
@@scalestuff1066 Just finished it yesterday, I'll send some pictures of it on Facebook I will also be showing off the tank in my upcoming model tanks video soon.
Hey Scale Stuff - great video, I’m nearly finish my version, great kit I put on the zimmerit myself - nightmare hobby boss for the next one, cheers Liam
Hows your build coming along? the one hobby boss ones really nice, its just those dam link in link tracks that really take the flavour off the kit, oh and watch out for the injection marks on the turret!
@@scalestuff1066 thanks for asking - just finished the 3 camo colour and previously applied chipping fluid, but its not working :(, wheels are ready and im about to get into painting the tracks, very enjoyable. Cheers Liam
No I dont thin them I work fast and let them settle to remove brush strokes, I dont dip the brush in deep tho so I dont get the thicker paint, coat wise depending on the weather I leave it a good couple of hours
Nice to see another brush painter. There are dozens of us, dozens!
Deffo we are the unwashed mass's, so much press on airbrushes on youtube you would think no one uses a brush now

I'd go for an airbrush if I had the space for it. Definitely tied to my living space sort of thing.

Why did I read that as German Tiger King and wondered what a German version of Carol Baskin would be?
Isn't that the woman from tiger king he calls a bitch?
Yes…that’s the joke
