Excellent rendition.
Love how this theme plays many times but my favorite two are after Mason unlocks the door “Welcome to the Rock!” and when General Hummel and his crew ambush the Navy Seals in the boiler room with a more depressing version of the song when the action starts.
Fantastic movie, Hans Zimmer is amazing, and your arrangement is incredible!
That boiler room scene is my favorite scene of the movie

When I watched 'The rock' on TV as a kid I thought General Hummel was a common terrorist like other Hollywood movies but when I re watched the movie as an adult(after military service)he was the real main character (ps what a great performance! from south korea) 피아노 연주 완전 멋져요 대박!

First off, I love The Rock, excellent job!
I just heard Sarande in D. Minor for the first time on piano. Is it just me or do these two songs sound shockingly familiar? Do you think it's a song that Zimmer was inspired by?

Yeah, I've heard that song before usually on strings (violin? in Dave Gorman's found poems). Never knew its name. It also has a dramatically tragic feel. I'm sure Hans Zimmer heard it before. But I think Sarabande in D minor by Handel sounds a lot more like "Green Smoke" which is nestled 9.5 minutes into "Rocket Away" when the jet planes are en route to The Rock. Nobody has ever covered "Green Smoke" as it's called in the expanded score: youtube.be/fw07JmI4-9E.
