sorry im returning to this but way u played w the idea of both juri + shiori being the 'dead lover' in their own ways (in the sense of both juri's emotional statis and shiori's decent into immorality/wearing a dead man's ring in the black rose arc AND the wider idea of ohtori as the coffin at the center of the show) combined with the way they're *both* the lover 'refusing to let the ghost in', both the haunted and the haunter, the gravedigger + the corpse desperately trying to drag them down with her... im so normal about this video can you tell
I think they loved each other, and it’s implied in the wet locket scene that Shiori also knew Juri liked her. But despite that she still wants to be close. I think she’s lashing out because she’s confused about her feelings and doesn’t understand why Juri doesn’t just talk to her. They would have been able to resolve it all, had they just communicated.
