- Alexander Sevastian, born in Belarus, now living near Toronto Canada, is a 4-time international first prize accordion champion. He has performed solo & with orchestra world-wide. Currently he is the bayanist of the internationally famous "Quartetto Gelato". Check out their web sites for performances & multimedia. Here he is performing his arrangement on the Roland V-accordion that he won last year at their annual Canadian national festival. He likes to use this digital instrument at large venues since it amplifies much more effectively then his acoustic one.

i guess Im kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Wilson Edward i use flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
I agree with the purest a regular bayan would sound better
You don't have to be a purist to realise that this is an aberration. When you know how this young man plays on his beautiful Jupiter bayan it makes you feel sick. The total mastery of the bellows (unique to the Russian school of playing) is totally lost here. I'm really afraid that Aleksander may lose his values by even considering fooling around with these electronic toys that have nothing to do with a real musical instrument. A real bayan takes three to six months of highly skilled labour to build, and each instrument is unique. The reeds and reed plates are entirely hand made- this is what gives them their beautiful, warm, and rich tones. Give the Rolands to the American cabaret players. Be careful Aleksander, you're taking the wrong road!!
His playing was awesome and he seemed to make no mistakes, it was perfect. Although, I would have liked it more if he only used the sounds of an original accordion through the whole song instead of pan flute for right hand and bass for left.
I like the panflute and the brass
What's this between 1:17 and 2:28 ???
