Bloodborne is a 2015 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era-inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease which transforms the residents, called Yharnamites, into horrific beasts. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings. Players control a customizable protagonist, and the gameplay is focused on strategic weapons-based combat and exploration. Don't know if anyone's ever shared this with you, but if you position your camera in a certain way in the Hunters Dream and clip through The Dolls head in a specific manner, you can see her eyeballs.
What's so special about that, you may ask. Well.
Behind her eyes, are a smaller set of eyes.
Google image search "Bloodborne Doll Eye" and it'll be the first result.

FYI, your chat was misinterpreting Vaati's statement of 3 umbilical cords. He's stating there are 3 found at that time. The fourth didn't become available until later, as clarified by Vaati later in the video, related to NPC you missed.

RE: best/worst ending
My take is that accepting to leave the dream is the "selfish" option, you leave the nightmare behind, but Gehrman is stuck there forever
Killing Gehrman is a selfless act, as you've granted him his wish of endibg his neverending nightmare, and lets him rest
Finally, the umbilical chord ending, is the "I'm too fuxking cool for this plane of existance" ending, where you end the nightmare by killing the great one keeping you looped, and becomes slugboi
