Today July 30, 2024, at 11:00 pm I decided to end my friendship with one of my best friends, exactly 1 year and 9 months. It hurts because we would always say “I love you” to each other every single day. I don’t understand what went wrong if we both loved each other, he was my other half. But maybe he’s not my piece and I’m not his puzzle and maybe someone better is waiting for him. But I know that God knows more than I do and maybe he’s telling me to let him go so he can find someone better who will make him even happier. He will always be my best friend no matter what. Even if he gets another best friend, forgets about me, hates me. I don’t care I will always hold a special place for him in my heart. Love can’t be forced and I won’t force him to talk to me or love me when he just found his person (he found someone right now and they seem pretty close) I just hope that this person makes him happier because I know that I wasn’t the best person and no matter how dirty he did me he deserves to be happy. I prayed to God that he would help me work out this friendship but maybe this is lesson for me to learn to let go of people. I deleted all our photos, but I left 3. One of his birthday, one where he was talking to one of his friends about me, and the last one is a picture he made for me on Valentine’s Day. I deleted the folder I had for him on my pc. I deleted him everywhere. And now it’s time for my heart to let go of him. I hope that in another lifetime we were made for each other. Even if time goes on I will still say happy birthday to him because I want to let him know that no matter the time or how old we are I will always be by his side.
