"True Messenger" Lyrics:
YOU ARE EVERYONE, YOU ARE ME YOU ARE EVERYONE, YOU ARE FREE
ALL OF US CAN SEE MISTAKES
GETTING OVER ALL THE SENSE OF REASON EVEN IF THE POWERLINE SHINING
THE SENSE, THE STORYLINE
YOU ARE EVERYONE, YOU ARE ME WE ARE EVERYONE, WE ARE FREE
ALL OF US CAN DREAM AGAIN
DANCING OVER ALL THE SENSE OF REASON JUST TO LET YOU KNOW
THAT IF YOU EVER DREAM THE STORYLINE IT WILL CHANGE TO MAGICAL MOTION
TAKE WHAT YOU CAN FEEL, YOUR DEVOTION NOW, SEE IT NOW, SEE IT NOW, ASCENDING YOU CAN UNDERSTAND, NOW YOU SEE IT THEY WILL NOT BELIEVE YOU
MESSAGE - GODS OF ALL THE WORLDS BECOME ASCENDING
MESSAGE - GODS OF ALL THE WORLDS BECOME ASCENDING

The spirit of Yes is alive and strong here.
Oh, yes it is!😎
Imo, he is the most irreplaceable member of Yes. I saw a Yes concert advertised not too long ago but it was with a different lead singer. No thanks. I'll save my money.
@@sdgakatbk Absolutely agree with you. Nothing against the new Yes with a new singer but it lacks the soul that is Jon Anderson. He is not just the voice but also the spiritual heart of Yes.
The force Is strong with Jon Indeed.
The early 1970s Yes are back.
This is shaping up to be the best Yes album in 20 years. And I know, this is not "Yes Official", but to me, Jon Anderson + the Band Geeks = Yes. Prove me wrong.
It definately has that "Yes" sound
Agreed. But let's not forget Jon's "1000 Hands" album. Also great!
100% agree
Agreed. It is a bit weird hearing Jon's voice coming from the other guys in the video, LOL
Yes in all but name. Sounds brill
How fantastic. This is incredible, suddenly I'm feeling 40 years younger. Yes!
Long Live Jon! Thank you Band Geeks for the most incredible support of one of the most influential artists of our time. Yes is best represented by Jon and the Band Geeks.
Your band and Jon is like butter and toast, delicious together. Sweet ear candy indeed. 👏🎤🎹🎸🥁✌🙏
It's amazing that the Band Geeks can both play the old Yes songs and play the new material on True in the Yes style. Of course all sorts of very good musicians can play Mozart with out being him, but I'm glad there are such talented folk to continue the Yes tradition.
Jon and Squire were Yes, now Jon takes the flame, call it what you will, this is some damn good music in the spirit of the old Yes group
I guess there are more polite ways to put that down.
Who cares what it’s called, this is Jon Anderson’s new band and they rock!
Badass!
Totally.
I never could understand how you could have a band called Yes without Jon Anderson in it. For me, his voice is the main attraction along with his amazing lyrics. Bless him and the Band Geeks. ❤❤❤
I think it’s so sad the way Steve and Chris treated him when he was ill.
Yes was a great band and every member was excellent. However, I agree with you. If it's a Yes concert but he's not the lead singer, forget it. I'll stay home.
It is a loss for Yes. But the loss to Yes is our gain. It is good for Jon that he can navigate his own way through a 2020's music business that is unhelpful to senior artists at best, on his own terms. He is not feeling creatively torn by his loyalties being tested.
one of their best albums, Drama, did not have Anderson in it.
The exception confirm @@moontan91
This one song has more energy than the last three "Yes" albums combined!
I wish Jon & Steve had mended the fence and agree some of Steve's YES albums have been soft, but YES's last album was actually very good.
@@lastdaysguitarit was a good album, but it wasn't a good "Yes" album.
@@ghj290 We're going to have to agree to disagree - Jon's the voice and Steve's got the YES guitar sound, the Geeks get close and they are very good - but its not the same.
@@lastdaysguitar Not bad, but there's no song on that album that can match this one...
I couldn't agree more. Steve Howe's incarnation has sounded tired, and dare I say it, OLD. This sounds fresh. I could believe this was Jon at 20.
Jon Anderson sounds just as good now , as he did fifty years ago …
даже лучше))
This album will show thw world that the true spirit of Yes is Jon Anderson. He's found the perfect band for him!
He and Chris Squire.

Madness to think that this man is 80 years old. Equally mad to listen to this and hear that voice as pristine and beautiful as it ever was. Nuts to then realize that this album, on the strength of this track, is likely gonna be his best body of work for a long. long time. Are we living in the twilight zone?
This is the best "musical gift" I have received in a long time! I am going to wear this CD out!! Love Jon Anderson!
We are living in Now, where Jon Anderson and his friends produce the best album of the year, regardless of category.
@@2wayplebney Have you not heard Luck and Strange, Dave Gilmour s new album.
@@Atom-56 yes, but Jon keeps distracting me.
He looked after himself.
Thank you Jon and the Band Geeks for such strong Yes magic! 2024 and still getting goosebumps at 55!
And 65!
May we never lose the ability to get goosebumps from great music 😊
More "Yes" than Yes!!
本当、見れば見るほどYES。
今のYESが悪いとは言わないけど、ジョン・アンダーソン。
YESに戻らないかな・・・。
no argument here
True
No lie, I was going to come here and type the exact same thing!
Wow! What a great song. Jon is sounding so good, and the Band Geeks are the perfect musicians for him to be working with now. Andy Graziano is a very talented guitarist, he really shines on this track.
Could not agree more. This band is amazing! Fantastic guitar playing and really loving the harmonies they’re providing.
The greatest Yes music I've heard in over twenty years. Yes is back. I'm pre-ordering right now. Jon and his band are Yes.
From what I've heard so far, I expect this to be the best Yes or Yes-related studio album since Magnification. I'm looking forward to it!
I'm in tears. It's as though I've boarded a time machine to 50 years ago. I can't even describe the feelings I'm having right now. it's as thought I've been given back a portion of my youth. Tears .... tears of joy.
Jon is invigorating us all, and inspiring 12 year olds (See my other post.).
Well said Scott completely agree, been listening to it twice a night now for a month and can’t stop he’s back and many thanks to the geeks for absolute power and utter strength ❤
@@timwatson3254 I've been neglecting David Gilmour and Crowded House for this album! Jon's work is mesmerising. Tikotay, tikotay!
Same here ... 😭
I had the same reaction. Been a fan since 1971. WOW
Jon is in wonderful, full, joyful voice. This song recalls “Going For The One” blended with a ABWH vibe. Great music!!! THIS IS TRUE YES MUSIC!!!
Omg, the pain this world will feel without Jon in it ❤
He leaves behind a legacy, that will be heard by many for years to come.
Best Yes since The Ladder. (That's 25 years ago!)
That's exactly what I thought.
Since Open Your Eyes which was in my opinion a far superior Yes album to The Ladder.
I thought Magnification was a very good album
The Ladder is good. But Magnification is awesome. "In the presence of" is as good as any of the classic Yes masterpieces. And "Give love each day" makes me literally cry. Those who like Yes should give Magnification a chance. It is a gem.
@@charlesrv7 I love both of those albums Those are the last 2 really great YES albums
Here we have proof that the voice cannot always be substituted
I think this proves finally that Jon Anderson truly is, YES.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😀😀😀
This is classic YES reborn! Great work!
One more jewel from Jon! I already love this album before it comes out! This is indeed the TRUE spirit of YES!
What we have here is, truly a Wondrous Story. This, is the genuine heart, and spirit of YES!
Goosebumps!!! It is sooooo good!!
Headphones on . Eyes closed. Drifting to another dimension. Pure pleasure. Top notch in every way. Awesome.
Jon Anderson is simply timeless. Unbelievable.
For me, this one number surpasses anything Yes have done lately. Just fantastic, a joyous recreation of classic Yes.
These guys are on the verge of lighting a match.... Love to see Jon way up on the charts again. Memories.
Mr. Bass has an undeniable Chris Squire touch ... a good song, glad he's still there in full health , Jon you've got it
Mr Bass is Richie Castellano who is also a songwriter and co-lead guitarist in Blue Oyster Cult.
@@tonyorourke2142 .. no way .. ! 👍
Way!
Amazing. Jon still has IT. The Band Geeks have the same tone and timbre, harmonies and song structure as YES. They are YES...!
Howe can clone the Sheep Dolly but Never a Singer like Jon! YES IS Jon Anderson and Jon Anderson IS YES!!!! God Bless Jon Voice and Talent!!! 🎤🎙🎶🎵🎼❤
I was playing "Once Upon a Dream" in my classroom, on crappy blown laptop speakers, and my lovely students started dancing and chanting along with Jon. The power of this new music! tiki-tai, tiki-tay!
Fantastic performance! One of your best records! Your voice is still beautiful! You have also also a fantastic band. Geeks have great musicians!
It's wonderful! You both (Jon and band) sounded like a kind of Yes 5.0 and even more.
Fantastic solo record, probably your best!
Wow ! This is fantastic. The music is amazing and has an authentic Yes groove. This band has lit a welcomed fire within the souls of their lifetime fans. The band members that Jon is playing with show their passion and enthusiasm by nailing every Yes song on this tour with precision . I was lucky enough to catch them Five times during their recent tour. Yes music is alive and well in the hands of this incredible band. As a lifelong Yes fan to hear this music live in 2024 was a blessing for all of us. It was Perfect.
Awesome! I’m a big fan of Yes and Ritchie C. Great marriage with the Band Geeks. One of the best voices in rock combined with awesome musicianship. Looking forward to a whole album.
Now THIS is what YES truly should sound like. The magical spark is there... anyhow, Jon & the Band Geeks killed it.
That guitar solo during the outro OH MY LORD 🔥🔥🔥
Finally a breath of fresh air 😢 Jon’s back big style, and the geeks are now the greats !! Poetry in motion, forget the word (yes) apart from the Anderson (yes) ….they should be now and forever 😊
Ah, Jon... The sparkle in your eyes... I'm so glad to see you singing with such great friends.
Jon Anderson was and stay the voice from Yes. I love it!
Voice and main tune, melodic lines. The Geeks Band sounds surprisingly as a revitalized revamped up-to-date Yes.
Jon Anderson totally rocks.🤘🤘
THE release of 2024, not enough words to describe this
Jon and Band Geeks are united in the spirit of pure YES energy. Me likes lots.
jons still got that great voice at 80 years
Perfect message for this time! Thank you Jon, Richie, Andy Ascolese, Andy Graziano, Christopher, Robert, Ann Marie! Perfect band!!!!!
I must have waited all my life for this... 🙏❤️
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Moment, (moment, moment, MOMENT!)
Jon Anderson just has a special magic. His voice mixes so well with the music. He truly is one of the greatest and most gifted singers of all time. People have complained about his lyrics in the past with Yes. But I have no problem with it. I'm not trying to say that words aren't important. They are. But it is more about how they mix and flow with the music. It is also amazing how great he sounds at this age. He is a timeless treasure. We are all fortunate to have someone like Jon Anderson in the world today. We should celebrate him and any and all new music that comes from him.
This collaboration with The Band Geeks has re-ignited the Yes West feels.. Sounding great - can't wait for the album!
I
LOVE
JON ANDERSON❤
This is tremendous stuff. What a perfect match. What a great band. Jon and the Band Geeks the real soul of YES is back!
I just stepped through a Time Portal and found myself Young and Excited again... NEW "Yes" Music.... New "Proper" Yes Music, not the drab, dull efforts of the stevie, me, me me band. This is just "Wonderful". Thank you Guys... Can't wait for the release of the album!🙃😎
Awesome song , TRUE is going to be Epic !
This song blows away the entire album Yes put out last fall.
This is a great Yes song. Been listening since 1971. Seen them in different parts of the world. Jon Anderson Rocks! Heavy, light and thoughtful all at once. WOW. Favorite lead vocalist no matter who he is playing with. Kind of a combination of "Animation" and "Ladder" Albums song.
Can wait to listen to the whole album! My dream come true! Long live Jon Anderson!!!
Probably the closest any of us will get to the last ‘YES’ MASTERPIECE !!!!!!
I absolutely love this album!!!
Agreed!!!
Having been a Jon / Yes fan for 50 years and a Band Geeks fan for far less, this Amalgamation of brilliance is Phenomenal. Please bring it to the UK.
According to the interview with Jon Anderson in a recent issue of Classic Rock, this doesn't look likely. We do have another Stolt/Anderson release to look forward to though.
Wow. Awesome new music from Jon. After so many years, he is still one of the greatest rock and roll singers ever. And the musicians in his band are all fantastic. One of my favorite albums of all time from any artist is Jon's 1988 album In The City of Angels. When I heard the song In A Lifetime, I knew that would be the song played at my wedding. I had no idea back then who the girl would be, but I knew that song would be my wedding song. (In 1996, my wife was cool with that as our song. Whew!). I can't wait to hear the rest of what Jon and the Band Geeks have to offer.
my mind traveled to 1970.. Bought the Yes album in a Barkers store in Caguas, Puerto Rico
What a beautiful Journey, until ambition infiltrated the group.. But Anderson is Yes.. No matter where he plays and exposes Lyrics.
Yes is here again.. Thanks, Jon... I'll Keep the Journey.
Jon,impecable a sus 80 años y con su voz intacta !!
This is just insanely good!
I've been a Yes fan all my life, but I'd given up hope of ever again hearing something as brilliant as this.
Jon Anderson continues to demonstrate why no other band without him can truly consider themselves Yes.
Steve Howe please take note; Jon and the Geeks are your new benchmark!❤
Jon sounds better than ever and this song is freaking awesome
OH MY GOODNESS!!! The truly ageless and endlessly inspiring Jon Anderson, in cahoots with the amazing Band Geeks, delivers a beautiful and goosebump-full NEW song!! I'm 69 and have never lost my love for Jon and his constant search for greatness. Blown away I am :)))
A big -BIG- merci to The Band Geeks. L'esprit de Yes y est : tout y est !
“ True “ Yes music is alive and well in this band !
Seriously, Jon's voice is a force of nature. Can't think of any other singer whose voice never seems to age. Phenomenal band as well. Best Yes in a long long time (I know it's The Band Geeks... they deserve their due on their own terms, but this is so much more engaging and exciting than any recent Yes activity)
High music!
Light Jon Anderson!
❤
Yes, yes, yes 👍 Thank you Jon and Band Geeks for carrying the torch of progressive rock 🙏 More power and love to you all💪🫶
Eerie -- Jon's voice hasn't changed one tiny little bit in 50 years. Thankfully.
Yes!Vocalist from Yes. 🤩👍Another great song.
Amazing. I remembered why i was such a fan of Yes in my teenage years, around the release of 90125. Music so rich, multilayered, lush and mesmerizing. This song alone is like constructed of at least 5 separate songs - for so e of the modern rock band that's pretty much a whole album. Jon's energy and musical talent are immense❤
If jon anderson is envolved you know its gonna be magic 🙏
Stellar performance! Staten Island strong! That guitar solo at the end was smoking.
Jon Anderson is YES 4-ever🎙🎶🤟
This is the sound of YES, well done Jon & band, keep the proper sound of YES going!
This was the best of the three new songs they played this summer.
Excellent! Thanks Jon. Thanks Band Geeks.
YES sera toujours YES avec JON !
The most incredible new music that I have heard for a long time. JA is a truly remarkable vocalist .
This is really, really good. I'm a hardcore fan and I think this is wonderful as hell.
This is true Yes music!
THIS is the band Jon deserves, just BRILLIANT, every one!
Impeccable!
So long Steve's YES. These guys are the real thing. They are the True Messengers.
Wow - this is Yes reincarnated with a more up to date sound and a really good vibe. First 'newish' music I've enjoyed in quite some time. Nice one.
Oh damn! Jon is back! Not that he was ever gone but this is the most 'Yes' thing I've heard from him in ages. This has more Yes in it than The Ladder. I'm in. I actually buy this one.
Saw Jon ans Band Geeks a couple weeks ago. I had dinner with band across the street from venue and all very nice and personable. Spoke wit Jon after show. He was very nice but he seemed to be in a lot pain. Symptom of getting old. I knew. Thanks to Jon and the band. They,re kindness is second to the light that emanates from Their instruments.😁
I am sorry to hear that Jon is suffering. He deserves better, as he and the Geeks have given us such a gift with this album. I hope it is something that Mr A. can overcome.
JON ANDERSON YOU ARE AMAZING !...THIS ALBUM IS BRILIANT !
YEEEEEESSSSSS.....whennthe voice Is THE spirit....THE spirit of Yes!!!!
This is Sooooo Good! Giving me Goosey Bumps! I had almost given up on ever hearing "Classic Yes Music" again, The Steve Howe band try but are so many levels below this. Reminds me of 40 years ago: The Acoustic Opening, then the Guitar different Tones, The Harmonies ! Maaaaan Chris would Love This. The old Hammond C3 keyboard sound and keyboard runs so reminiscent of Rick. The drumming is pure power house (Ala: dear Alan White) The flow of the Mood & Tempo changes from Rocking to Gentler passages. I am sat here covered in Lovely Goose Bumps. The Best Yes Music since Magnification.
Me thinks we've got our (Proper) YES back.
So nice to see Jon Again in Great form making us remember what It used to make Yes so magical, im getting goosebumps....
Pre-ordered the vinyl. I am So excited Jon. Chris and Alan would be so happy for you ❤️🤘
Love the song! Love Jon! Love the band Geeks! Love it all!
This is my only source of fresh inspiration these days; the veterans who just keep going in life and art
All of my 70's rock heroes are getting old. Except for Jon. His voice is still so damned strong and perfect it is astounding. Saw him live last year and was amazed. Close your eyes and he's still in his 20's. Long Live Jon!!!
Thank you so much, Jon and The Band Geeks, for this great album. It is beautiful! ❤️
Wow!!!! Jon, you transcend time! Love Love Love! Lifelong fan here and a Band Geeks follower AND fan as well! The stars aligned on this collab! Can't wait to see the next musical virtuosity!
Long Live Jon ! Bless you and the Band Geeks !
Jon has such a blessed voice at this age!
Jon's vocal is sounding just like he was 50 years ago ~ just incredible! Magnificent song with the high qualities of YES! 🎤🎶🎵🙌🧡
Absolutely love this amazing how special is this man Englands greatest prophet of sound at the age of 66 it’s been a long time ago that I have been blown away can’t help but to feel reborn ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Um quite a bit older than 66!
His voice is YES, always. He sound incredible still🌏🌍🌎⭐️🔥🔥🔥💥💥☄️⚡️
