You already know the backstory by doing the best ending, and seeing the fatal ending makes it more depressing on how the son has gone mad because father was being too stricted but we know why he was like that, after that he was almost killed but had to kill his son... he lost everything and because of the grief and shocked/sad he was, he ended up killed himself as the only way to put him out of his misery

Both the best ending, the fatal, and the insane ending is to me surprisingly considering that it goes from “ haha, funni joke game “ to “ holy shit, that got dark fast “

These endings are put together perfectly, though endings aside you can actually call 13 different numbers on the phone when you are on the quest “Find something useful on the TV”.
Every number on the TV has a cutscene while the others numbers are just calling random npcs(111-111 through 888-888 I think)
insanity gave me the chills, the fact that you feel guilty for killing your father, but are still kept in a (forgot what it was called) is chilling. i mean, what if you were still a bit sane still? Just for them to say "i think we should keep him here to be safe" but tbh, i think that was the right decision.

I thought the fatal ending was going to be something unexpected. i thought the child was going to stand near the microwave and blow it up, and get hurt in the process.
Fatal ending was so sad bro!! Imagine having to kill your only son even though you love him. Its told so well and its so sad.

This game is really good and well made.
The endings are actually really dark (Except for Good Ending..?, Bad Ending, and Good Ending)
tbh i discovered the insanity ending by myself with the hint of the badge thumbnail (The Mirror) and i didnt enjoyed it but it is well-made.
How do i describe every ending:
Good Ending..?: Like a totally known random ending game
Bad Ending: Going to school is boring but shocked you were patient.
Good Ending: You and dad stay at home, happy with eachother. You made the best choice.
Insanity Ending: You killed your dad and will be stuck on a Solitary Confiniment room forever.. hope you dont try it again.
Fatal Ending: You tried to kill dad but failed and he killed you, but dad fell in depression for losing his wife and his son, he suicided. You definitely did the worst thing you could do, DONT do this again.

a month ago I also lost my mom so suddenly, so seeing this ending and playing it myself actually reminded me of my mom and how much I missed her. I'm actually tearing up as I'm making this comment.

DAMN!!! DEVS BE COOKING!!!! 10/10. I do hate endings that involve such things like that, but they did what was unexpected and they didn´t go for a very insane and gross way. That is a great thing for a game, so I loved it. Quite sad, but enough.

after seeing the other endings i wonder... is the good...? ending an analogy for suicide?
LIke, how it all starts off relatively tame, they don't wanna go to school and they're trying to fake sickness. But as it continues on, it very quickly spirals down into more and more desperate ways to escape going to school (escape life). Nearing the end could represent attempts at suicide, like setting the house on fire (with the protagonist in it), exploding the car, etc. And to top it all off, the protagonist USES A ROPE in the final scene. By pulling the sun down, father finally lets the protagonist skip school, they finally escaped school (escaped life and the grief that came with mom's death).
Or I'm looking way too far into this and its just the silly silly fun ending of the game.

Bad Ending: You went to school
Good Ending: You skipped school but too much heats
Insanity Ending: You killed dad and ended up in jail
Fatal Ending: Dad killed you and he's now alone
The fatal ending also has the sounds of dad killing himself at the end if i am not wrong(yeah fatal is more dark)
