Klaus has soft spots for all his family excluding his Esther, Mikael, and Dhalia for obvious reasons but his soft spots and the instant kindness he showed to Caroline and Hope were the same. He loved both the them. He did have soft spots for Camille and Hayley but he never when soft around them like he did around Caroline and Hope.

It was so good. I love your edits! I wish Caroline made an appearance on Legacies to talk to Hope about Klaus. She could tell her how he was not the villain of her story and not the Big Bad Wolf that everyone seems to tell.
