- Bindi Irwin is opening up about her experience with endometriosis. On Friday, the 24-year-old shared a video on her Instagram where she answered questions about her disease, explaining to fans she started experiencing symptoms when she was a teenager. The animal activist explained that when she welcomed her daughter Grace Warrior in March 2021, the pain magnified, and she worried it would impact her taking care of her daughter. However, after getting surgery she feels much better. “I am really excited,” she said. “It feels like I won the lottery and I get a second chance at life.”
Thank you Bindi. I suffered for years as well. I knew my periods were painful, but I thought pain and cramps were just normal for some of us. Then I developed a chocolate cyst on my ovary. During surgery to remove the cyst, my doctor realized that I had a very bad case of endometriosis. She removed many lesions, but I still had horrible pain. A few years later I had another surgery and the endometrial tissue had started growing on my bladder. I decided to have a hysterectomy because the pain was so bad. I’m so sorry that you have dealt with this too. Thank you for sharing your story. ❤
hugs
Same.
Hugs and love to all of you who suffer with all this.

Oct 2023: Bindi, so happy you are finally getting answers! Love you, Kate
Bindi you are sn inspiration to all of us women. Thankyou love!
I (54) was diagnosed 1986 when Endometriosis was “supposed” to be a “working woman’s” disease. Talk about stereotypical 🙄 At 16yrs old the gynecologist was not exactly sure how to treat this disease.
I have had 13 surgeries, including my hysterectomy (2003) and my left ovary removed (2020)……I’m post menopausal STILL dealing with this wretched disease!
Endometriosis has brought me so many illnesses to the table: Chronic pelvic pain, Migraines, Anxiety, Major Depressive Disorder, Chronic Insomnia, IBS, IC (interstitial cystitis-bladder disease), Fibromyalgia, autoimmune disorders and Fatigue.
It’s a wonderful thing Bindi…..You’re bringing this painful life altering, life changing disease to the forefront. I hope many more women use their famous platform to help in the fight against this evil disease.
You are a warrior! Wear a yellow ribbon proudly to represent your fellow sister warriors 🎗️🎗️💛
I'm so glad your feeling better Bindi!!!😊😊😃😃
I've seen bendy grow up right in front of my eyes like literally because I used to watch bendy the jungle girl everyday and to know that she's going through such a horrible thing like endometriosis such a painful disease I literally just googled it and found out that the symptoms that she had is exactly as she describes it pain in the pelvis area never met her before but she seems like such a genuinely sweet person and loving mom to her daughter the fact that you said the pain could become so insurmountable that it would knock her unconscious that is awful and no one deserves to suffer that way I hope she gets the needed necessary help that she deserves to cope with the condition
Love Bindi! She's always been such a sweet lovely lady. So happy she's not suffering anymore!
Despite having Endo she is lucky to have a kid, a lot of Endo patients are unable to conceive. Steve blessed her!
Bindi's privileged existence is proof that God plays favorites.
Gracie is a miracle
Awwww, little Grace looks like Steve 🥹❤... So happy to hear Bindi is doing better.

You poor baby! Steve, your dad was with you, honey!
Bindi hi my name is Amanda Holmberg and I kind of know what you went through when it comes to stomach pain when I was a little girl I had a lot of stomach pain all the time and back to my doctors just thought it was kind of constipation but back in 2021 come to find out I hadn't had a BM and then a chica cat scared of my stomach had something called Ogilvie syndrome and they just gave me a laxative thinking it will go away on its own but that didn't work and then in January of 2022 I ended up back in the hospital again with the same problem and what are the doctors told me that my colon was gigantic and he told me that if we don't remove it that I was going to die back in January 2021 the doctors told me I had had ogilvie's syndrome ever since I was born I suffered with this ogilvie's syndrome for 30 years and 10 months it took me almost dying for people to figure out what was wrong with me I'm a real big fan of you and your family

I'd just assumed Bindi had an idyllic upbringing and life besides the trauma of losing her dad so young. It just goes to show you should never envy anyone or assume how perfect their life is compared to yours since you dont know what going on in the background.
Actually, Bindi had the idyllic upbringing and life and still does. Her so called problems are utterly phony compared to normal people. Normal people lose parents as children but have to deal with it as regular people and aren't handed anything in life because of it. Normal women deal with utertine fibroids, PCOS or endometriosis alone and aren't given advantages like Bindi has. The tragedy isn't having loving (yet deceased) parents, but parents who see you as a burden and who don't love you. Bindi acts like Snow White because she has no clue how real people act. Bindi has no clue how real people feel and the pain of real life because she was sheltered from the misery of real life in every single way. She is fake, spoiled and sheltered and she acts like a cartoon character because of it. She is infuriating and obnoxious, not inspirational or special in any way.
Also she gets to rake in millions poor Bindi
Let's fight blndi i supporting you
♥️♥️♥️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾♥️♥️♥️
Bundy I suffered with endometriosis it is like an animal is clawing and chewing also maybe a lighter burning.had surgery. But I had the surgery and Dr.took it out. But it grows back
You are SO BEAUTIFUL WITHOUT MAKEUP!!! 😢

You know it grows on the rectum and you grow chin her. Bless you child.I could not hVe a baby because of endometriosis
“It’s just part of being a woman” what a lazy diagnosis.
No wonder so many are becoming trans men.
And yet, that is what we hear a lot from doctors. Another favorite is, you’re just getting older……..😑
Best to have that removed after having kids so that she doesn’t get cancer.
Bindi, they don't like Us.
You just have a quiz at all those associated with RH.
Most are already dead.
I don't have to do this and would be better off not to.
However, I am German too.
If you possess the DNA you shall be taken out.
You firstly teach this to your children.
If you have any Native American heritage then you must study Elvis Presley well.
I thought bindi had breast cancer??
You will hVe to hVe a hysterectomy
I wanna hook up with her
I don't feel sorry for her at all. She has the perfect life.
So many women have that. The only reason why she is in the spotlight is because who her dad was… doesn’t make her a hero like you people are making out to be. Glad she got help but this video is just publicity
It’s called raising awareness. Too many women go undiagnosed with endometriosis because we’re told that excruciating period pain is normal when it’s not. Plus having a baby with endometriosis is very difficult. She’s raising awareness on it. Should women stay quiet about our issues with periods and pregnancy then just because other women go through it as well?
@@user-zw2hn9eu1l yeah shut up about it and get help. You guys cry enough as it is. If you’re in pain and it’s intolerable go get help. Simple as that.
I agree. Bindi is privileged and blessed in every way imaginable and most regular women cannot relate to her in any way.
@@HC-qv7ng so she’s not allowed to talk about her struggles with a endometriosis just because she has money?
@@user-zw2hn9eu1l This isn't just about money. She has everything.
Thank you bindi. So proud of you. Grace needs sister and brother someday.
she thinks the world revolves around her.
Why do celebrities think they are the single most important thing on this earth. Celebrities need to learn that the facts of their life isn't that interesting. Actually most of us don't actually care.
A celebrity like Bindi has a lot of power. And she is raising awareness. She has a platform she can use to raise awareness and help those who aren't as famous as her when it comes to endometriosis. It isn't her fault she was born to a famous father
Um. They don't. People like you complain when they don't do meaningful shit with their fame and when they finally do something, y'all complain anyway.
What excuse is Bindi going to use for the next ten years for her ballooning weight and general laziness? Post pregnancy depression?
It's not an excuse. Endometriosis is a chronic illness that is considered one of the most painful conditions in the world
What's your excuse for your general lack of intellect and empathy?
Oh PLEASE. Bindi doesn't know what pain is. She was blessed with a baby shortly after her wedding when most women with this disease cannot have kids or get hysterectomies. She has a loving and supportive family and now husband and the whole world is behind her, when most women have nothing and no one to support them emotionally. She went to the USA for a surgery when most women cannot afford a surgery like that, no matter how much pain they are in. She got to recover for months while living in a wildlife paradise, how lucky is she? How blessed is she? I feel like I'm looking at a real life Disney Princess whenever she speaks, and no, that is NOT a compliment! This child (emotionally she's a child) has no clue what real suffering feels like.
This isn't about comparison. Life sucks for everyone and everyone suffers differently.
@@brooklynbrown7614 Life sucks a lot more for most people than it does for someone like Bindi.
Wow. You have some growing up to do.
Yikes, lady.
Just because your life sucks, doesn’t make it okay to attack other people. I hope you get the help you need.
