Wes, you’re a Tyler apologist and I’ve always been neutral on Tyler, but this game was a horrible game for Tyler. He was 4/20 at one point. He was extremely inefficient, the Batum put-back was supposed to be a Tyler box-out and the costly turn over with a minute to go. Tyler had 5 turn overs in this game. 33% from the field 5 turn overs and hogging the ball the entire time. This game was lost by Spo’s bad rotation in the second half, Tyler’s bad decision, Caleb giving the 76ers the momentum in the 3rd, and Jimmy’s injury.

I'd attribute it to two key fluke plays. Jaime driving in the open court, just loses the handle for a turnover. Then Herro's backcourt violation on the handoff. The Heat was up in each instance. Philly scored 5 points on those plays. That's in a 1 point game.

Ultimately, I blame Spo of course. He has a short leash for Jovic who can generate some offense n push the pace. Guys was scared to go coast to coast on fast breaks n the only guy who can do that only plays 14 mins?
I’m glad we saw our biggest flaw on full display last night. No size, no lead guard, and injuries has killed the heat killed us since Jimmy been here. Bam is a 4th scoring option and defensive anchor at best. He’s not a bucket getter when you need him to be. Tyler takes too many bad shots and can get sloppy with the ball against better defense.
Naw injuries are the only thing that kept us from improving with a new roster

As a Bulls fan I can say the Heat are capable of winning tomorrow without Jimmy and Rozier. I wouldn't expect it or take it for granted, 'tho. Bulls aren't the Hawks and proved that last night and have all season. They've also put together a string of good games lately. But I know the Bulls well and they know how to lose games as well as win 'em. So...let the better team win come Friday. If better just for that day. That said should the Heat win? If Butler is gone for the playoffs its a last hurrah most likely. As a Bulls fan I respect the Heat. Been a secondary fan and follower since Riley arrived. I know we have a issue with Tyler. But im more scare with Bam and Jimmy. We cant win a Ring with a Part Time and Old Star, and in my opinion Bam cant carrie any team. Bam is our only real Asset is the player to trade and build around youth players. I Know nobody wants to talk about it.

Why can’t Jimmy play this way in the regular season tho? If he played more like this we wouldn’t even be in the play in to begin with. It’s not like he’s going hella extra hard in the playoffs he simply just takes more shots. I was watching him take multiple step back and pull up jumpers today and i’m like bro if u played this aggressive in the regular season we’d be the 3rd or 4th seed.

This loss is on Spo. His rotation of the players once again was a disaster. Why did Jovic get 14 minutes? He was 2-2 with 5 rebounds in 14 minutes and played good defense. You got Martin playing reckless and Herro thinking he Kobe Bryant where I will shot until my shot starts to drop and is extremely horrible defense. Why isn't Herro held accountable for his pathetic defense?? There has to be serious regret of giving him that extension. We haven't even thought about his lack of creativity on the office Three players in the corner and two at the top of the key. What the hell is that ?? Simply pathetic
What about Bam's offensive game?
Miami's style of play burns these players. They use these role players and get the most out of them, when push comes to shove they are already worn out and full of injuries. Playing with only one star “Jimmy” they will not reach the final goal “Championship”. Management should invest in a superstar and a star along with role players... to have better results... but they are surely not going to do it. They wasted Jimmy B's prime.

People watch these games and get emotional. It's not emotional it's execution. They look for someone to blame, and for the opponent in the playoffs its not about that.
They key on the heat strengths and weaknesses. First job, clog up the middle and take away bam, done.
Secondly, don't let Jimmy beat them. After that, what's left. That's how teams look at the heat.
So, from that perspective, the heat has some serious holes to fill. This is what I think should happen, draft night, they should trade herro for as high a draft pick as they could get. Use the first pick to draft a backup guard like Devin Carter in case Terry gets hurt.
With the herro pick, I hope a big like Tyler smith Jr. is still on the board. Draft him and PLAY him early so he can figure it out on the floor.
Teams take advantage of the heats lack of height. If they don't quickly address that this off-season, next season will be like this season.

We’re slow in getting into offensive actions. Nobody can make shots in the paint. No fast break or easy shots. And Jimmy gave you an all round game before he got hurt. I hope Jimmy's injury is not serious. That's all there is to it. This team goes as the leader goes. Him staying in the game to play even though he was hurt is another reason why I love Jimmy.
Sorry Wes, but Terry missing is a problem because with Jimmy gone there is no rim pressure. That's what Terry provides. The same way no Duncan means no credible 3 point threat (you feel it when Highsmith couldn't hit any open 3). These things matter. This loss starts with Jimmy's injury and snowballs from there.
The theme for this season if it comes to an end abruptly is injury. This has been an NBA season plagued by injury. And PJ said it best in 2022 "whoever gets to the finals is the team who is healthiest."
Wraps for the season. Love the heat, never give up on them, and ik what my team is capable of, but we’re done without Jimmy. We can’t make a run without him. We failed Jimmy by not getting another star, another year wasted.

But honestly. This isn't a surprise outcome of the season so far. If the heat miss the playoffs. Im not surprised at all. I knew that from how the off-season went. But it's better that way so jimmy can get healed up and rested. But it's by time Spo started implementing a system that gets the most out of what players do best to help win games. Including utilizing his veterans and more experienced players no matter their offensive talent. Definitely need to use that depth.

Batum was wide open that's why he was making shots and Bam deserves more blame than Tyler and once again the Heat had a bad 3rd and 4th quarter.
The Heat lost for 2 main reasons free throws and turnovers. Missed 5 free throws (lost by 1) Philly had 15 turnovers, Heat converted only 6 to points.. and had 13 turnovers of their own.
