The famed high note performed by Ryan Toby (Ahmal) during the "Oh, Happy Day" song in the movie, is a high E-flat, one of the highest and toughest notes to hit for singers and vocalists. Toby was 16 years old during the shooting of the movie.

This was one of my boyfriend's favorite songs from the movie. We were together 33 1/2 years. He passed 5 years ago from a stroke. I am crying tears of joy and sadness. A good cry every now and then is good for the soul.

I was 9 years old when my Mom took me and my sisters to the movies and watched Sister Act 2 we were totally enthralled with the talent. They dont make films like this anymore.

I cried so much seeing this. My high school choir performed this and it changed our lives. This movie meant so much to so many of us inner city students in my neighborhood who needed hope and joy. We found our voice through this film, actors and Ms. Whoopi Goldberg. My heart is full. To God be the Glory.

The female soloist I believe IS from LaG (and tell me she didn't put some STANK on that solo!) and the male lead played by Ryan Torby was the young King who blew EVERYONE away with his voice in the movie. You might want to do some Googling to find out who was there, and please let me know 😍

Today would have been my Mom's 78th birthday. My heart was saddened because I miss her so much. Then, I saw this. It put everything back in perspective for me. Ryan has had a helluva journey since Sister Act 2. He was in a hit group called City High that had a very messy breakup but, he bounced back and became a writer of a lot of big hits people love. It’s nice to see him in a good place again.

This made me ridiculously happy and brought tears of joy to my eyes. My mom absolutely loved both Sister Act and Sister Act 2, as did I, and we'd watch them together if we ever ran across the movie on TV. Mom's been gone 10 years now but I can still see her grinning and cheering on first "Sister Mary Clarence" and then the kids from St. Francis Academy each and every time we watched. Thank you for this amazing performance!

This was the spirit lift and nostalgia trip that my soul needed today.
My cousins and I thought we were cool AF in 1993, singing, "If you wanna be somebody, if you wanna go somewhere, you better wake up and pay attention", on repeat...We were shite, but good memories.
It's a reunion but i feel like i'm a part of it because i was 14 when Sister Act 2 came out so i could relate to those kids and this movie remains one of my favorites, particularly the "Oh Happy Day" scene. In a 3rd installment it would be awesome to see at least some of them as parents, or uncles, or teachers or something like that in the movie.
