The 18 wheels idea could be a great tool to extinguish fires. I would love to see a modern version of what used to be a mine clearing tank (the Sherman Crab) during WW2, it used a rotating flail system to clear mines and barbed wires. Today they could use the same flail to extinguish fires, but instead of a tank, they could use a robotic 18 wheels bike, like the one showed in the clip.
Or they could use the vehicles they have that are already well suited to the task....instead of playing around with a jetski on wheels. This shit is like that fuckin' metal tube Elon Musk tried to have people use to save those kids trapped in the cave. It's a suggestion/device from someone that has more money than sense.
They should put in a steel conveyor belt type of floor in the truck trailer. Load 2 pallets and hit the button for 1 pallet length and load 2 more. This would eliminate the need for the driver to do this manually inside the trailer pallet by pallet with pallet jacks.
Here in America the way our regulations are wrote up that wheelchair lift would not be allowed cuz there's no way to fasten the wheelchair to the lift and if the lift failed it would become dangerous if attached to it
It also claimed to go up and down 3000 times a day which if it takes just 1 minute to do either 3000 times the total is 50 hours of operation a day. 😂🤣
The boot cleaner of course was shown in china but it was the only really useful looking tech that looks affordable enough to see wider spread adoption.
All modern trains run on electricity. It's just that some of them generate it internally using a generator. So they are a perfect application for any form of renewable fuel generators, so long as they can produce the needed wattage. Additionally, the UK has already trialed hydrogen trains successfully, and some old engines are being converted into "new" hydrogen units.
That 18 wheeled ATV is basically a big one wheel w/ how hard it nosedives on braking..... That's not cool and probably feels terrifying when doing 68mph. 😮😂 Edit: OMG, I have a small Revolute drone I got about 6 years ago... Didn't know they made big ones.
There’s Nothing like taking an off-road vehicle for a spin!.. but that 18 wheel ATV is a proper death trap!! It’s suspension is way too soft.. that thing would nosedive and flip very easily. And at 110kph?! F*_k that!! 😬😬
Very interesting inventions, thanks. I’d like to see more 100% electric trains though. You can power them with electric rails on the ground or possibly through electromagnetic induction. Electricity generated from green sources like wind and solar power can go directly to powering the trains, avoiding the losses of powering hydrogen production instead, then sending hydrogen to the train and converting that again back into electricity to run the train.
In Poland we do use coal for most of our electrical power, so why not hydrogen for our trains. Especially since wind power is unreliable and proven to be problematic for local wildlife, and solar isn't a match for colder and cloudy weather.
Well actually you have ocean tidal power at the shoreline for Poland, and in the south solar can be a good option or possibly a more wild-life friendly wind power design. Alternatively, next generation nuclear might be another option, plus energy storage, either gravity based or battery-based as Poland and other countries switch to these energy sources and shut down coal, oil and natural gas plants. The trouble with hydrogen trains is hydrogen is not readily available. You need to split water (H2O) and that takes energy. So where do you get the energy from? One of those energy sources I mentioned hopefully (like tidal or solar power). But you will have energy conversion losses because the train needs electricity and you are converting the hydrogen essentially back into electricity. It’s just a waste of energy when you could have sent the electricity straight to the train or to a battery powered train.
Neuro-marketing should be prevented. Corporations already have too much data on consumers. I would also be worried about companies wanting employees to wear these. Probably would want them combined with the shock scarfs.
The hydrolift goes up and down 3000 times a day? If it takes 1 1/2 minutes to go up and down that adds up to a total of 75 hours of operation a day. At just 1 minute it’s still 50 hours. 😂
I won't buy a home robot unless it can: 1. change the oil & filters in the car 2. troubleshoot and replace fuses 3. help me rewire the house without me needing to hold its hand the whole time 4. change a window and ensure proper insulation, vapor barrier, drywall, mudding and taping and painting.
Yea it also makes absolutly no economic sense if you consider the total economy. The only reason why its cheaper than diesel currently is the very high diesel tax.
5% savings over the entire life of the choo choo and the infrastructure is massive and expensive to build out the train, the hydrogen production and delivery systems what a waste . nutty.
2:36 Why is the entire length of the floor a single moving piece? Can't you now only do this with the first load? Every other load shifted to the front has all the previous pushed against each other and the front of the trailer.
The second invention had me interested up until the point they said it would allow companies to read our minds for marketing purposes. I wouldn't feel comfortable using technology like that without some serious privacy laws in place. That still might not be enough. Though the uses in the medical field are interesting.
Moving floor trailers? New? I drove semis 30 years ago while working for a trucking company that contracted out to sawmills and paper mills needing sawdust, wood chips, and hog-fuel transported/delivered. Hog-fuel is the removed bark from trees and burned in the "Hogs" i.e. the enormous cooking vats that paper pulp is cooked down in. The floors in the hog-fuel trailers looked like, and operated just like what is shown in the video.
On the train that could be quite useful in long distance traveling as volume of fuel tanks are irrelevant as it could just have an entire train car that is just one massive fuel tank. The biggest problem with hydrogen fuel is that it takes up a great deal of space as it is a very low energy to volume fuel level. As trains can have hundreds of cars that it pulls what does it matter if it pulls an extra tanker or two of cars carrying fuel for the engine. And instead of having to refuel the tankers you just disconnect the empty fuel car and connect a fuel car that is topped off.
