I am about 70 pages into the new book and let me say, it is compelling! I first heard ‘ that voice ‘ in about 1992 when I turned on the radio as we finished our home schooling day. I have almost all her books and they are dog- eared to say the least. This biography brings her to real life beautifully. I pray that many many people will read it.
I live in Puerto Rico and I discover Elisabeth a few years ago, but her ministry has been a really blessing for me. God talk to me through her messages so I love this your doing . Thank youfor giving us the oportunity to hear this. I sure will buy the book! God bless
I was one of those people intimidated by Elisabeth Elliot. I read this book by Ellen Vaughn and it has changed how I see her, it has helped me so much. It was the book I needed at this time in my life!
We serve the God who CAN! I’m a victim of child abuse…in listening to the description of the native sharpening his spear, as he once would have, to attack Jim and the team, I was suddenly struck by the awareness, based on all the healing and propagation of forgiveness God has wrought in me, that I was set free from thinking it was about me-my pain, me healing, my anything. It was all about Jesus, come down from the Father, and demonstrating he is who he says he is…and if we lift that Truth up…he will draw all men unto himself…
