@@aBunchOfPedals beautiful is not a word i normally use to describe overdrive...it's not that I don't like it -- I use it a lot. it's just that I would use other words. My response to this one is different.
Haha, ever since I got the mission control I try and use it with everything. That thing really does open a lot of new options... The resonant 2-pole filter of the polaris also sounds fucking great.
SpaceDisco1 I know, right? I plug it into everything I can now. I really liked how the Thermae section came out. The swells you can do get really fun and when you split the signals, things get real weird lol. You can split it up to 3 pedals (that’s been tested).... I need to try 4 now.
therewasascene I know, right? Since this video came out, I got one one of the deluxe versions and it’s awesome! It’s easily one of my favorite delay pedals.
Silverback Ink Thanks! I just ordered the stuff from Amazon. One is a 3.55mm to 1/4” TRS, then I got a single female TRS to dual female TRS. I usually buy the Hosa brand stuff because it’s reasonably priced and hasn’t failed me yet.
@@aBunchOfPedals i dont have the paper work in front of me but its got that impedance conversion thing going on with it i don't use an overdrive i just use several Boosts for flavor. find & read the owners manual you'll see. my pedal chain is base on my theory not the usual rules
@@aBunchOfPedals I just bought a Saturn V. It's really dope. It makes my KOT's boost channel sound dull in comparison. Saturn V + single coil neck pickup + compressor = perfect Frusciante clean(ish) tone. Makes everything bright, rich, clear and sparkly while still being fat, not thin or shrill at all. Just rich, crisp, high def. Gotta run everything after it though.
Enki Ea I had a KOT once and never really liked it. With my strat I usually run a treble boost (not so much for the treble but for the boost) and that alone made the singles coils sound so much better. Throw one of this after and it’s golden. There’s a lot of great overdrives out there but this one is awesome.
Hello there . I hope it's not too late to comment here. I am looking for pedals or eqs that substitute the use of dialtone pickups. These pickups allow you to shape their tone manually. Unfortunately the company shut down and I'm looking for alternative ways because these pickups are no longer available. I see that this pedal does the job, but I have to ask for your opinion. It really matters. Thank you.
JacK vol.2 Well, what you see is what you get with this pedal. I don’t use a lot of fancy gear in the video so hopefully it comes through as realistic as possible.
Funky' Furballs They make awesome stuff. Not all of it is for me but this OD is one of my favorites. For real though, the Explorer is amazing, it just sounds so damn pretty. I’m trying to get myself a Sputnik one of these days.
@@aBunchOfPedals got myself the polaris and the amazing Explorer! The polaris with its mellow sound is perfect for stacking with other ods! Spaceman is worth the hype!
Polaris sounds so damn good with synth it's almost unreal. So beautiful 😍
TheTrueMantis Yea! I’m right there with ya! The Nebula also sounds awesome on a synth 👍
The Polaris has to be the most beautiful sounding overdrive that i have ever heard.
BTsMusicChannel It really does have a large range. The Mini and DRV are also really nice.

Excellent stuff.
Left Past Saturn Thanks for checking it out! Much appreciated :)
Now I gotta buy this
Devon Blue Whitaker Too many good pedals coming out haha.
really nice pieces of gear!! good job!
Délivrance yea, they make a solid product for sure. Thanks for checking out the video.
These are some extremely high quality videos, keep it up
Meme Police, hide your memes Thanks! I really appreciate it. More to come :)
Love that VHS delay

Great video! Where'd you get the cable to split the CV?

@@aBunchOfPedals Thank you! Did you mean a single female TRS to dual Male TRS?
Silverback Ink Nope, single female to two female. Then I used eight angle male Trs connectors because they look cleaner for the video and save space.
@@aBunchOfPedals Thank you!
Had Saturn V for years
KXMROCK How is it? I know most spaceman stuff is awesome but I never played that one.

JacK vol.2 Hi! Sorry but I’m not really familiar with those pickups at all.
@@aBunchOfPedals that's alright. Do you know a pedal that changes or modifies the resonant frequency and its Q value/factor of a guitars sound
JacK vol.2 Just something like an auto wah. Maybe you should try out some kind of simple EQ? Sounds like what you’re going for.
