How do I replace that plastic guide that keeps the window straight? Do I have to remove the entire glass? I'm also trying to find where to buy it from. Thank you.
Someone broke my window. I got the new one in just fine but it won't go all the way up because the old guide clip from the broken window is still in there. I can't get it out and I don't want to try to force it out am I supposed to take the window back out and just push it down and out?
You left off one of the most important steps - and it’s the one that I’m stuck on! How do you reattach that little plastic piece that attaches to the top rear corner of the window and rides in the channel (so that the window goes up and down properly)? Mine popped off the window and went flying as I was replacing the regulator. I found the plastic channel piece but I have no idea about the little pin that holds it onto the window. Is it a rivet? A metal pin? A plastic pin? How does it stay in place while you put the window back in? When you pulled the window out, that plastic piece seemed to just pop out. Does it pop back in the same way?
@@doadea Search for “Fiat 500 Abarth Window Clip Missing” (channel is Frankie’s Garage). The video only clarifies the orientation of the clip but if you read through the comments, you’ll find part numbers for the clip and instructions on getting it on the window and back into the track. I’m not sure anyone could actually get a camera in there and film the procedure (too tight, too dark, and hands would definitely get in the way of the camera) but the text instructions in the comments of that video make it pretty clear. Good luck!
Did you have to completely remove the glass to replace the channel guide? Mine broke off and probably fell off on the road. Also, where did you get replacement from? Thank you.

Do you have to replace window if guides are missing or just buy new and glue

How do you remove the second panel on the driver's side door to get to the door handle

I am having this same issue. I have now broken two windows regulators because I was missing this channel piece.
