Brings me back to those late night bus rides where I was beside the window seeing city lights, people going wherever they should and vehicles moving while this song is playing. Also those late night walks from a hospital shift then stopping by to an open shack to eat arroz caldo with tofu then walking back home bringing some of the food to my parents for a night snack. These memories might be ordinary but I cherish each and one of it. I've been to paradise, yes. It is not some special place somewhere but rather it is what we make and who were with us at those times. That, is my PARADISE.

I remember this song growing up as a child and when I recently learned how to play piano, I knew I was going to do whatever I had to do to learn play this brilliant song. I just heard this song yesterday and i can't seem to get over it. The lyrics are so powerful that it can touch even a man's heart. I wish many songs like this will be produced so that younger generation will be reminded about the true meaning of happiness.

I remember my senior year in high school the song came out and it was very controversial. People either loved it or they hated it. I thought it was introspective and insightful and not meant to be anti-feminist but an honest assessment of life to a given point in time for the singer of the song. I know so many guys who really deep down love this song but didn't have the guts to admit it. I never had a problem admitting what an awesome song this is! And it still is painful to hear the protagonist of this song lament as she assesses her life.
I bought this song when it was first released on vinyl and still got it, Loved it then, Love it now a truly inspirational song, I wish someone would release now with the music available now but without killing the song.
