    I bought cheap levers for my ga a few years back, had to grind them down to even get it bolted in and had to glue a spacer to get the break switch to work

    I just took off a few mm from the section that was touching. Come off easy and touched up with a bit of spray paint.

    Another thing that always goes bad with these cheap parts is the colouring.
    Any colour you buy will slowly work its way back to silver. I've had red parts turn pinky after a month

    Hey Boys! This vid is set to premier so you guys know which vids are dropping on my channel this month (just like a TV guide).
    Hit the SET REMINDER button and I'll see you when the vid goes live :)
    I know premier vids can be hard to deal with and incredibly hurtful to some of my subscribers so here's an extra vid to make up for it. You guys are tha real ones

    Best thing about this part is you can modified it to fit all you wanted without worrying about the price

    On the clutch side just flip the nut and bolt so that the nut is on the outside and the bolt is on the inside. Will probably give you the clearance you need.

    I only had Chinese levers on my mt09, the only difference I could find from expensive ones is there was a little more up and down movement, 40000k's on one set of levers and never had a problem

    • @AdjrianNickelodeon
      @AdjrianNickelodeon  3 года назад

      A little more slop in the Chinese ones for sure, but yeah I agree with you.. basically exactly the same as branded ones

    Ive used 5 sets of chinese AU$50 levers across road and track bikes and have never had any issues

      I have a different set on my bike for over a year without issue as well. Lucky dip 😆

    both my last bikes I bought chinese levers off ebay for like $30 CAD, there's no way im spending $200+ for levers when they are basically identical.

    I've got some levers, foot rest and even some mirrors on my bikes and fit perfect, so China for me is cheap and good 🤣! Cheers bro keep it up!

    Chinese sellers do not give a shit. They will happily sell you a brake lever that will snap in half and kill you the first time you go to use it.

      You're right they don't give af at all based on my correspondence with them. Once they've got your money, they disappear

    I was going to start a business using Chinese parts did a couple of orders of anodized bolts and the quality was non existent. The idea was well received but I’d kept going I would have given out a lot of refunds

    Its a shame that the company couldn't realise that it didn't fit properly.

      Surely they do realise.. heaps of people on the forums have had issues with these specific levers. Anything to get rid of old stock, even lies :(

    Flip the screw to the other side. Maybe this could work out for you?

    • @AdjrianNickelodeon
      @AdjrianNickelodeon  3 года назад +1

      MRL suggested that as well. Unfortunately the perch will hit next. They're crap. Next episode I'll try out a different pair 👌

    Would take you 20 seconds to grind down the thread poking out and maybe even a bit of the nut, if that's too much effort to save $250 then I guess RUclips's sorted out their ad revenue issues...

    • @AdjrianNickelodeon
      @AdjrianNickelodeon  3 года назад

      Instead of that, I could flip the bolt so the thread and nut are on the outside.. the perch still hits the switchblock. They're garbage. $250 is a few months of ad rev on this channel :)
