  • Special shout out to my Fb Groupies. They helped name this tank top. Overwhelmingly they requested the word breeze or breezy. SO here you have it. Summer breeze Tank top.
    yardage for the tops. I used 400 yards for a size xl crop top version. I used about 1000 yards for a 4x full length
    there is no written pattern for this. and there will not ever be a written pattern.

      Thanks I was wondering about yardage. I have some Ella Rae Eco Organic Cotton in the colour skye and have 2 skeins of 273 yards and was afraid to starting making a top and not having enough yardage. I would be making a L so this comment helps me a lot. Thanks

    Ok most will think this silly. Your videos actually helped my ptsd that is triggered by wind chimes. I had a repeated trauma and that was the background noise. It was something I focused on to get my head out of what was happening to me. Used to hearing them would trigger an episode. I used to have trouble with your videos and I'd have to take breaks. I kept watching snd learning and I can usually get through a whole video with no issues now. So I know it wasn't by design but thank you because I feel like you've helped me take some control back and that feels powerful. It's weird. We've never met but you've had such a profound effect on my life. This and our talks through this quarantine have really helped me so much!

    • @CinnamonStitches
      @CinnamonStitches  3 года назад +36

      This just gave me goose bumps. That is not silly, its incredibly profound. I know what triggers feel like, and taking back control is a huge accomplishment.

      @@CinnamonStitches it feels good. I almost didn't comment. People are still weird about mental health and thinking people make huge mountains out of trivial molehills. I've almost commented this on a couple videos where you talked about wind chimes and I chickened out but it was important to me for you to know you helped with this. Getting through ptsd can feel so powerless because it can have such a hold so it feels good to be able to have some sort of control.

      I also have ptsd...bad bad childhood. My big issue was when tv is on n background noises..ive gotten better over the years. Being traumatized can really mess a person up

      Oh honey It's not silly at all! Sadly too many people have bad memories and certain triggers from childhood and so glad these videos helped you gain strength to overcome your fear! You're turning I to your own kind of super hero! So proud of you and understand completely:-). Things that ruin childhood affect mental heal for life and it's so brave to let people know you've never given up and fought to fight tour trigger! Anyone in your circumstances Know How difficult that is so I am SOOOOOO proud of you! We have your back always! Thank you for sharing and being brave:-) love and hugs from England, UK :-) XoxoxoxoxoxoX ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    You do not have to apologize for noise in your home. That is the craziest thing I have ever heard. People watching know we all have children, animals & wind chimes. So please, never apologize for your family and the things you love. If people don’t like noise they can turn the volume down or not watch. All just my opinion!!!!
    Love your creativity, and your funny personality.❤️

No annoying sounds" I know you say it all the time and it makes me laugh. I jumped on and ordered this exact yarn. Now waiting delivery. Meanwhile, making blue hats for “hats not hate”.Honestly, I have reservations about the charity’s motives, hats are not going to stop bullying. Changes need to occur at home. Yet, if I learn of reasons to not donate to them, I can donate to a local charity. In North Carolina, we have many loved sports teams with blue themes. I can’t wait to make my daughter this top! Apart from using it as an excuse for totally being myself I can enjoy being with everyone else without seeing them as an enemy or someone to be hiding from. As you say, each one of us are worthy of love and I know I get it. I have loads of extended family to make for. I grew up on Faygo in Southern IL. We have some of the flavors here in NC where I'm at. They don't have the cream soda here, which was my favorite when I was a kid. Since I developed Hashimoto's I've also gained a ton of food allergies, there is no eating out or buying premade foods for me anymore =(. I make my own stitch markers, because I'm cheap and not spending oodles of money on them. I'm totally adding this to my to do list.

    I made this top and I really love it. I am definitely going to make more because I'm very hot natured and I wear tank tops all year round. I live in Texas so we don't alot of really cold weather. 💗

    I watched your video and decided to make this, couldn't find the cotton yarn I wanted, so decided to go with Red Heart Unforgettable, because I liked the color striping. Made the collar and front part, then tried it on. Didn't fit right, so went back to your video and realized I used single instead of half double. Back to the drawing board, didn't frog yet, started with a new ball, now I'm off to the races. Ready to attach the arm holes and continue. Thank you for the clear instructions, I just needed to follow them. Lol
