The best song of John's solo album Destination Anywhere. In my point of view, the whole album is so perfect, but also so much underrated. I wish he would write songs with the soul of the 1990s again. The whole band's best decade ever... But I still love what they do today and admire this man's ability to adapt to changing times. His life motto should be the combination of Bon Jovi's two top albums: Keep the Faith These Days.
Damned right!! This song is one of the best things Jon ever wrote; solo or with Ritchie. The whole album is amazing from start to finish. This song, Midnight In Chelsea, Destination Anywhere, August 7, 4:15 and Little City really stick out for me. Much like Wring Side of Right on BOUNCE. Love that song so much! He wrote so many amazing solo songs. Blaze of Glory is full of them too, but Destination Anywhere had such an amazing maturity to it and sounds so different to BJ stuff. Much like Ritchie's INCREDIBLE Stranger In This Town album. Incredible from start to finish. Flat out did not like Undiscovered Soul though. Stranger was essentially a BJ album without Jon as both Tico and David played on the album. Maybe Hugh as well? Cannot remember... Alec was a waste of space so was not needed.
@@segasonic9117 I wasn't sure about Richie's second album even though I loved Stranger In This Town. Then I went to see him on his solo tour at the Shepherds Bush Empire and the songs really stood out for me so I started listening to it a lot more.
@@lynneparry7371 I tried listening to it a few more times in 2013 but still could not take to it. I still do not have his 3rd album but that is supposed to be much better.
That solo..... fuck I LOVE IT! Right up there with Dry County for me as one of the best Jon ever wrote. I play it full blast in the dark and just... listen.... Especially awesome on rainy, stormy nights.
I wrote this 2 years ago. In 1997, influenced by this song, we got married ... we had 2 children, but unfortunately, last week she asked for a divorce. 20 years reduced to dust. Maybe I'll never listen this song again. Really hurts.
@@JiosX No I've never been to London. But I think I might know who your talking about. The girl with the gloves and the red lipstick the camera kept going on? I met her in New Jersey on a Bon Jovi trip.
Absolutely amazing Bobby´s guitar solo + the movements he does as if he not played but WAS the music:) Also, I like Jon much more nowadays - he smiles, jokes on the stage, ha grey hair and doesn't act like the "tough guy". What do you think buddies?
Jon ALWAYS smiled and cracked jokes on stage! Watch any of HANDS' amazing concert uploads ;) Even the Tokyo Road 85' concert. I treasure that laserdisc.
Great Bandiera´s guitar playing.

Completely agree with you. Greetings from Colombia.

You said exactly what I was thinking dude !😁
My sister and I saw Jon's solo concert in 1997 in Sydney. Awesome night it was, too! This song was amazing....
I love the whole song but especially that solo at the end is one of the best ever. Relatively simple but so full of raw emotion that you can feel it.
yes yes and yes !
I think the same
Totally agree. Might sound sacrilege, but its up there with solo at the end of Comfortably Numb.
totaly fkn agree, this album is just pure badass ,so moody
@@kaffeice7 Yeah, I need to put this back on my playlist. It has been a very long time since I played it.
now THATS how u play live !!! 100% emotion and a solo that rocks the roof off !! Bobby played hes best in life im sure of it
Agreed. Bobby was damn good
Honestly, who could ever wanna walk away from this man? Especially after hearing THIS?
Who walked away? Explain please.
The woman he is singing to in the song.
Christie Kraczek what album is this from?
Christie- I agree! I think he he is singing about his wife - Dorothea
@@michellemckillop5712 Destination Anywhere
Doesn't even look like he's trying to sing that! What a voice! Time is savage...
Dices, algo positivo o negativo...? Eres tu el que no se da, a entender..

Best live version of this song. Almost like on CD. Perfect!

Nice...yeaahhhhh.
I've heard this song in acoustic version, it was great, but this is like.. "oh, my God"
Usually, I like acoustic versions more in many BJ songs... but this one is an exception. It's so good, especially the solo of course...
I will visit to your soul kitchen one day
holy crap
Delicia de homem
Is it just me hearing some references to Pink Floyd's Time on the solo?
