Chop the money plant down to 1 inch of stem in the spring (April) and give it decent light and it should put out several new healthy stems that are full of new leaves. Don't over water it while it has no leaves. i did this to one and now it is full like a small bush.
This is why I decided not to buy any more plants... I don't like clutter and all the plants I buy because of the tend has died or is dying.... my common house plants are flourishing or the ones I have rescued.... I am a plant lover not a plant hoarder, so no more plants for me
I love the white pot w/ green bulls eyes pattern. 1 of my 1st plants was a pink aglaonema. Didn't like it when I saw it but I wanted plants. It has weird albino pinkish stems that creep me out. And that plant will not die. Its been abt 1 1/2 years
I regret buying my melanochrysums. They are putting out small leaves, on one, the new leaf wouldn’t unfurl and I had to cut it off. Just a difficult plant.
Hey Abi, love your videos (: Maybe try separating the Syngoniums in the pot. I had the same issue with mine. I separated and repotted about four together (gave the others away, there were about 7 stuffed together) and now they're all thriving. Hopefully you'll begin to love them again x
Hollie Ellie Thank you Hollie!! I’ll have a look to see if I can separate them, I assumed they were one plant but they could be a cluster like you say. Maybe one part of the plant is taking up all the water so the other part is dying off. Thank you!
Poor pilea you paid too much money for it , I bought one here in Norway from a supermarket costs about £5 its doing well but has 3 pups I'm really nervous about it ,how do I make more plants without killing the mother plant ?
Imxgen I know, I’m very sad about it as it was such beautiful before she cut it and sold it to me. I’ve was thriving for the first few days then took a turn for the worse and hasn’t looked good since 😭
The prince of orange philodendron, such a pain and a diva. It starts off nice, then it starts with ugly, aborted attempts at producing leaves unless I give it a personal grow light. It will then complain no matter how I water it, with wrinkles from under watering or droopy exuding water leaf tips if it gets too much. For some reason, I keep it and stay in a bad relationship with this plant. It has an added bonus of a bacterial infection and precarious root wobble if you don't move the plant gently.
Ferns (all types) and cactus / euphorbias. As gorgeous as they are, I just can’t seem to keep them alive 🤷♀️ Currently have a blue star fern & a rabbits foot that are surviving but not exactly thriving. And cactus 🌵 I know are supposed to be easy care but I don’t do well. Maybe my home isn’t dry enough because the majority of my collection are philodendrons & hoyas. Who knows
Jennifer Howell oh really! That’s really interesting, I’m not the best with cactus but my euphorbia is going like crazy recently. I’m totally with you with ferns 😩
That's not nice that you did not get the plants you actually thought you were getting. the bright side is that you would have learn from this and you shared it so its like a heads up for others.

John King Ooh I do hear they’re rather difficult 🥺
Great video Abi !
I have the same issues with my white butterfly! It's supposed to be an easy play up but I cannot get my to be happy either.

@@AbiBloomUK No worries (:
They're probably connected rhizomatically so will come apart from one another with a gentle twist x

I regret my aglaonema Crete it's shot out new leaves but then died b4 unfurling. I've 're potted it, checked the roots, moved it nope still not happy.
oh that pilea makes me sad! such a shame when you get misinformed about a plant when you buy it

Haha! Now that sounds like it was/is a pain! They’re quite expensive little things too aren’t they.

My biggest regret is monkey mask. 3 months ago she arrived from facebook with massive root rot. I'm still trying to save her.
Those need humidity
