rookie, first game in the NFL, playing the most difficult position- you have to wait till the second game to offer it up as proof that you were right about Bo being a bust all along

Nix didn't play all that bad. Nix may be older than other QBs taken in the draft, but the NFL is harder than college. DId you notice how well the other rookies that played performed? Yeah - I didn't think so. Let's wait at least 7 more games if not the entire season and then we'll talk...

As a bronco fan, he was trash Sunday. I’ve watched the game twice and will watch it again but he was bad. All he did was stay at or near the line of scrimmage, that’s cool to start the game and get your feet wet but he did it call game long. Then when he went down field he was throwing ints into triple and double coverage just terrible head scratching decisions. He could’ve had at least two more picks and one of them that he threw was a no look pass. He has the most starts in college history and he is supposed to be the most ready because he had the most experience, he should need the least amount of time to develop. He was 2-13 on passes 8 yards or more downfield. Now fans and media want to blame the skill positions and Oline. We had the same Oline and skill group last yr and we all said Russ was bad including me because he was I can recall two games vs the jets and Texans that he imo he lost us with bad decisions at the end. We blamed Russ not anyone else, so bo gets the same treatment from me. He didn’t have to be great week 1 but I needed to see flashes but I only saw about 2-3 good plays when the game actually mattered not when he scored that garbage time td. I didn’t want bo I wanted to go defense and make that front 7 stronger but Sean wanted Bo to prove he is the ultimate qb whisper while not developing the rest of the team. We could’ve traded back from 12 and acquired more picks for more talent. Ladd, Keon Coleman and Xavier worthy could’ve been added to our weak ass wr room but Sean thought Bo was the answer and he’s not. I called 3-14 before the first game of the preseason and preferred Bo to be qb3 and sit till about week 13 and finish the season but Sean wanted to prove he found his guy now we’re stuck with him at qb for two seasons. I’ve seen this same qb play for almost 10 straight yrs what makes go different from drew lock as a decision maker, they look the same to me

@@brandonjackson6323 I told everybody he rarely ever pushed the ball 10+ yards down the fiekd. He never made a significant throw at oregin he is s check down merchant... He is good at the short stuff, but idk how many games you are going to win only throwing short like that with zero intermediate to deep threats

@@TheeDawgCatcher he was throwing ducks on Sunday 😭 you’re right with his ability he can Alex smith at best and that ain’t cutting it today that’s 2010-12 era in todays football you gotta be able to go down field and open the defense up. I think Wilson is the best qb on the team and has the most talent he has some mobilty as well. Payton never developed a qb in New Orleans. And so far he hasn’t really drafted well or signed and good free agents in his two seasons. The line is the only thing he improved with powers and mcglinchey that’s it. His hasn’t drafted any player the last two yrs that has a pivotal role on the team coming into this season. He traded up for Riley moss and he got cooked in the preseason and week 1. We let Simmons go and our safeties got weaker. So bo has to be an X factor and that’s not him. If he had Daniels speed I might look at it different but what’s he gonna do when they play faster defenses. Seahawks aren’t even strong yo front and their backers are ok what are we gonna do against stronger front 7s like this weekend we are about to get cooked only shot we got is hopefully fields plays as bad

@@brandonjackson6323 bo nix cant carry the kind of load they are asking him right now. I mean he could break through and become a good QB through reps and experience, but he has never been able to really be a great intermediate and deep passer... Well at least he was never really ask to do so at Auburn or oregon, but that may have been because they knew his limitations and what he was good at.

@@TheeDawgCatcher I agree. I watched his first ever game when he was a freshman at auburn against Oregon and ppl forget he got benched at auburn. Oregon can inflate a qb stats they are a pass happy program and mariota looked great there and in the pros it was different but I feel he was a better qb than nix because he was an actual dual threat qb but I didn’t think he would be good in the pros either when he was drafted. I thought Herbert was the same but he came in and proved me wrong his first game. Bo nix was in school for 5 years and he didn’t throw 20 tds until he 4 then he got the extra covid yr and threw 45 and it was also against the pac 12 defenses. When he played nfl level talent in the sec he was an average qb. His thing coming out was he doesn’t make mistakes. Then he comes out and makes 2 and more that we’re dropped. I think he is who he is and more starts are only gonna expose him that he isn’t a 17+ game starter and not a threat to ever win the division let alone a ring.
