    Lovely. Can I use Design Master to spray the crepe paper as I do not have alcohol ink.

      Thanks Paulyn! You definitely could use the design master spray, yes. You might want to experiment with doing short blasts of the spray so that it gives a more blotchy effect, rather than a continuous spray which would be more of a gradient. I’m sure it would still look very pretty with a gradient, it just wouldn’t be as realistic.

    This is beautiful. Any thoughts on coloring the paper with oil pastels or chalks?

      Thanks Johanna! I’m glad you like it! I would recommend pan pastels over oil pastels or chalks. They add a softer colour and will stick better to the paper. Oils would be quite hard to blend on the ridges of crepe paper, and chalks would most likely rub off if you handled the paper too much.

      Hi Martha, It takes time to make art! If you’re looking for something quicker to make then give the hibiscus a try, there’s only 5 petals, so it’s a lot faster to make!
