MSD. Aadhi haqeeqat aadha fasana. If you look at all the hype, you would think he's the best player ever in the history of the game. Truth is he's not even the best wicket keeper batsman India has produced. That honour belongs to Rishabh Pant. Dhoni is just a massive media driven hype machine. That bubble burst long back. Must give Dhoni credit for milking that wankhede 6 forever. Ab tak chal raha hai. Can you imagine Kapil Dev milking that Viv Richards catch he took in the 83 final in 1993? Yet here we are.

BCCI has an IP over the term 'IPL', 'Indian Premier League' and all the team names and acronyms. So if you have a sponsor on board, you can't use them. BCCI pulls you up if you do because you're profiting off their IP. But you can use Indian T20 League and other such variants to report on the information from what's happening. Strange world eh?

To the best of my knowledge, the BCCI has some Intellectual Property Rights over the usage of the word "IPL" with respect to branded content. That is probably why, as this video is sponsored, Mel and Bharat had to use "the league that must not be named"

But The Grade Cricketer, Jarrod Kimber (his initial videos were sponsored), Final word podcast etc easily name IPL and bharat himself did a few times in this video. Constantly saying "league that must not be named" is irritating.
@@doctorjoy2688 None of them can. Not by BCCI regulations. Them doing it doesn’t make it legal. You need to buy rights to be able to use the IP. The BCCI tends not to intervene if it’s not sponsored but sponsored content will often be put under the scanner with potentially large fines if not heeded.
