I've been learning to play the Autoharp now for 2 years and low and behold I've played this way without even knowing what it was called....this is why I'm going back over your videos as a refresher. I'm getting more out of them than I did when I first began to learn to play. Thanks again!

Thanks for your comments; on this, and the other videos. There are more on the way....I sat down the other day and plotted out about 20 more, so we're good for another 6 months to a year! After that, who knows??

I feel like you taught me the whole concept of how to play this thing. You have truly inspired and excited me. I needed this boost of positivity in my life. How do I thank you for uplifting my world. I have an hour every morning to practice but I stink. I am really getting better thanks to your guidance, you make it make sense!!!!! The walking fingers changed my whole way of thinking and playing, using the first and ring has made all the difference.

Yes, the information is great. Yet, why does watching your videos piss me off so much??
I believe it is what happens after you present a basic technique or give the lesson; the example you use to demonstrate the use of the info is usually a far more advanced use than I am even able to comprehend. I do not recognize the info in what you are playing, usually.
I am not just speaking of this video, but most of your videos. It is like you are saying, "look how good I am, now go to my Patreon page and give me money so I can continue to make videos that show how good I am."

Thank you for your very constructive feedback. Sorry I'm pissing you off. Not my intention. Arpeggios (in this case) give music a gently rolling "lullaby" feel when they are done slow. When they are done fast, they become banjo rolls. Only way for me to demonstrate that, and refer to how they transform at higher speeds is to demonstrate. I'm a teacher, and the last thing I want to do is turn off my students. As for my patreon, there are many many who take my material and do a lot with it. I get that feedback constantly. Some want to give back a little, and Patreon gives them a way to do that, and their help is much appreciated, it helps me keep the internet on and such. I actually wrestle with "showing off", and seldom perform anymore because I don't like the "hey look at me" aspect that all performers love. It's not a good quality in me. If I didn't show the faster application of this strum, people wouldn't fully know what they can use it for. But again, thanks for the feedback, and I agree: no one likes a show-off. My hope is that some people will excuse it in me. This is the one thing in life I'm actually good at.

@@wildautoharp I apologize for the post. It was sortof a minor rant. You see, I am a stroke survivor. I played guitar for 35 years prior to the stroke. I am just now, after four years, getting some use back in my hand. I thought the autoharp would be a great instrument to, once again, express myself.
Because of these things, I get frustrated by not being able to play music like I used to.
Basically what I am saying is, I guess I am pissed at myself, not you.
Again, I apologize for the post.
